I couldn’t help but just burst out laughing when Karrion Kross lost. Just jaw dropping, mind boggling dumb booking. Like, impressively stupid. Especially considering how he’s been portrayed in NXT, that he’s the champion, AND they took away Scarlett, it’s gotta be the worst NXT main roster debut of all time. I’m not even a big fan of his really but that decision is indefensible. Watching this show after Money in the Bank was so disappointing.

@@wrestlingp Get his time? Dude, they buried him, every single wrestler he faced to build that NXT title up, AND they buried the entire NXT brand to the ground. Balor just got buried before he even showed up on SmackDown. And the NXT Championship got publicly humiliated and buried live on RAW showing exactly what Vince McMahon thinks of NXT. Let's see who's going to watch NXT now. Vince McMahon has pretty much driven away whatever hardcore fans that NXT had left. Who's going to take Kross seriously in his feud with Samoa Joe? Kross is a loser with a dead brand's belt that means nothing anymore. Samoa Joe is fighting for nothing.

I remember two or so years ago, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and Vince McMahon standing in the ring and apologizing and telling everyone that there'd be no more match repeats, no matches where the former champion got an automatic title rematch. Then they blamed it all on Baron Corbin.

I didn't mind the "automatic rematch clause" stip when a champion lost his/her title. But, when the former champ not only loses in the contracted rematch but in multiple following matches [no matter if the #1 contendership was earned or given], that's when it becomes (became) too ridiculous for its own "good".

With the "Automatic Rematch", it ain't that bad in some scenarios, like for Impact. They have that worked into storyline, and the matches aren't that bad. But for most of them for Raw? It feels like they just do that because they don't have anyone else built up enough to challenge for the titles. Hell,. for the Women's tag team championships, they don't even have any tag teams for it!

@@sarge1408 That is true for RAW, SD & NXT. Many times, it's like just walk up to the champ and say, I'M NEXT a la Goldberg (or how Roman did to him right after Fast Lane last year). WWE Creative and booking have been very inconsistent with #1 contendership matches and handing out title opportunities like Halloween candy in the last few years.

All those WWE shills. Saying oh just wait until crowds come back. Then they will get better. Was the NXT champion losing in a 2 minute match better? Keith Lee losing his first match after 6 months better? Humberto still in the US title picture was that better? Another Charlotte/Rhea match was that better? Other than Cena’s promo RAW was ass as always. Face it this company is creatively bankrupt. I really enjoyed MITB and even Smackdown wasn’t that bad. But damn RAW is terrible and no it’s not better with the crowd back.

I’m a mark for Goldberg. It’s pure nostalgia. I’m well aware of his shortcomings, especially now. Still, he deserves waaaaaaay more respect than he gets. Not a single fan that boos him for “taking the spot of younger talent” would hesitate taking the deal that he has. If you say otherwise, you’re only fooling yourself. Most of them had no problem cheering Taker beating Styles on his way out, even though Styles, Gallows, and Anderson CARRIED him to what was nothing short of a squash match. That’s as selfish as it gets for a legend to go out beating younger guys. Every legend knows this. You go out on your back.

WWE LOGIC= FANS WANT JEFF'S OLD THEME BACK. > GIVE IT BACK >HAVE HIM PIN UNDEFEATED KARRION KROSS IN SECONDS. It's like those horror movies where you get a wish but it's always got some kind of messed up catch attached to it.

I'll also go so far as to say... the way Triple H has handled both AEW curb stomping NXT in the ratings and the Velveteen Dream situation shows me that... he wouldn't be much different from Vince to begin with.

This is why people need to let AEW be a thing. If AEW didnt exist...All people would have is Jobber matches for their favorite wrestlers. AEW allowed people to have somewhere to go thats actually a big stage. Not as Big as WWE yet. But its a pretty big damn stage to become a star on.

The biggest irony of this show was how the Reginald story was a microcosm of everything wrong with WWE: creative wanted us to sympathize with Nya turning on him, but what we actually sympathized with was watching him join the bottom card void of the 24/7 championship gimmick.

After a year of pushing lame ass Karrion Kross in NXT and having him killing all the better wrestlers they decide to ruin him anyway.

HHH protected both Walter and Karrion Kross on NXT and then Vince had them both lose on their debut matches. No wonder Ciampa never wants to move down to the main roster

This show was abysmal. Jeff Hardys No More Words was all I cared for and even that was ruined because of Kross's terrible debut. Vince hates NXT and killed it in one night.

I feel bad for nxt fans. Two of your heroes legitimately jobbed out and made to look like fools. I don't even watch nxt or wwe for that matter but when I heard they jobbed nxt champ out that legit made me annoyed. Those NXT fans you speak of are the 50+ demographic in nursing homes. The very little fans they draw in the key demographics in the ratings are people that watch NXT and those that watch both AEW and NXT. Pretty sure that Vince McMahon has just driven away those younger viewers away from the product. That's really not what you want if you're NXT. They needed whatever they can get in those key demographics to please those USA Network executives to keep them on television. Now, with the majority of NXT viewers being 50+, NXT is in major trouble. They were barely surviving with what they were getting which was good enough. Now? SMFH.

If you check out the WWE YT comment section of the top ten moments: it's full of WWE simps! The comment section is full of comments like "raw is awesome again", "raw is super once again, can't next week", "finally raw is great, stupid thunderdome", "yes, thunderdome was stupid it made raw unwatchable", "thunderdome made the show so bad!". "Finally no more thunderdome, it made raw so bad!" They literally blaming everything on the thunderdome! Like the structure itself literally dose the booking and the storyline of show!!! I remember when it was first introduced and the rating went up (for 3 episode) and every WWE fanboy was like "it's going to fix everything!" While other companies like aew, impact etc mode it through without it! What they going to blame next after Cena and Goldberg are gone and the ratings drop once again?! (Jon Moxley called the whole thunderdome creepy as fuck from the get go)

But I could’ve told you that, this company has only been consistent at being disappointing so it’s the only thing left to bank on. P.S. Bryan thought they couldn’t screw up The Fiend so his optimism with crowds returning didn’t amount to a hill of beans back then and it sure as fuck didn’t amount to anything now.

I have to take a deep breathe everytime I hear the word "Doudrop" I say word because I refuse to acknowledge it as a name.

What I don't get is this product works. WWE is making killer money. I'm gone for 15 years, check in, and its the same product it was in the Ruthless aggression era with a few tweaks and more new faces. It works, and the kids and captive audiences must love it.

I actually think that if WWE is sold, that random Disney executives will somehow stumble into better booking than Vince in 2021. They'll just sort of go with whatever the crowd seems to cheer more. I genuinely believe that.

I have no clue why goldberg is back...and upcoming talent are getting buried. Theres literally no future up and coming talent now. It's still Cena and Edge in 2021

@@questionthemark4982 I’d usually disagree with you since NXT is a brand of WWE and has had better matches and storylines than the other WWE brands, and therefore can’t be “a minor league”. But after Kross’s match on Raw, I guess that’s officially what Vince wants you to think of NXT.

MITB and any other WWE PPV are just big nights to fill us with false hope. I almost watched Raw for the first time since they broke up the IIconics. Thankfully I followed my heart. No matter how good they are and what moments we’ll chat about for 20 hours, shit is reverting back to how it was last week and the week before and the week before and the month before and the year before. I’m so glad wrestling exists on Wednesdays

It's such a shame what Raw has become. The scary part is, some fans act like nothing is wrong. I witnessed arguments via social media prior to this past Raw where said people were claiming that the reason why Raw has been crappy is due to the pandemic. Citing the Thunderdome and lack of crowds as the primary sources. And then stated that once Raw goes back on tour, "the show will be noticeably better". Welp. It most certainly wasn't noticeably better. Quite frankly, it was just as lousy as its been for a while now. Impact had to deal with the pandemic. And so did AEW. Both had to deal with similar parameters. Yet, both were able to deliver good shows. Heck, AEW even thrived and flourished. Which I didn't think would happen. I thought AEW would really struggle and possibly suffer. Yet, it was the total opposite. But let's blame the pandemic and lack of fans for why Raw has been awful. Because of course it can't be WWEs fault.
