This guy is so full of shit. He definitely was responsible for this and had no issue with it until he got caught and tried to blame someone else. I don’t believe this guy for a minute. He’s lucky this was over the phone rather than face to face cause it sounds like this guy would have gotten his ass kicked.

I completely believe the promoter is lying to honky Tonk man and decided to blame it on some dude while admitting he’s the booker but this other dude wanted to book. And his gf wanted to do the poster and the promoter acts like the posters and flyers were out of his control? He’s the fucking promoter and booker. He lied repeatedly and it’s easy to tell by the stuttering and changing his story at a whim.

I'm no lawyer but I'm pretty sure that would be false advertisement not fraud. And I'm pretty sure neither of those are federal offenses
