Lads, they got me. Still remember it like it was yesterday. Circa 2005, I came home from an MC Chris show around 1 or so in the morning. I was off my face. I fell down on my couch and turned on the TV. That's when it happened. I was pulled into a tractor beam of drunken wabbos. Four to six weeks later, I came home to find a little slip of paper stuck to my door. I had a package waiting for me in the front office. TWELVE GGW DVDS, LADS. TWELVE. Including one hosted by Snoop Dogg. Apparently, I did the unspeakable. In a very intoxicated state, I picked up the phone and dialed now. I gave these people my credit card information. What...the...hell. I still have them, btw.

It was awful obvs, but he's a tv exec and it was a business venture, so if it did great, WWE would have a whole new cashcow, and possible DVD distribution. Maybe it'd get them $50M+ per year, ya know? Sleazy but worth exploring, esp as WWE was sleazy at the time 😂 looking back holy God...but u don't know until you try!

i remember ordering one of the dvds back in the day and never got it in the mail. around 2009 i got a $19 check from a class action lawsuit against GGW. I bought a gas station cowboy hat with the money and lost it on the river in the same day

I actually wouldn't mind if OSW did an arc in this time period where they contrast Raw and Smackdown at the time. They haven't covered this era much and it'd be a nice change of pace from all of the older material they've been covering.

legit popped when I saw that you guys covered this! No lie but for about two years straight, when I was in high school, I would always fall asleep watching Spike Tv. Every time I woke up to get ready, right at 5:30am, the infomercial for the latest GGW tape would still be going on. The dead giveaway that it was a GGW infomercial was the music was nothing but steel drums playing the same song. Now until I die, whenever I hear a steel drum all I can think of is drunk college chicks flashing their jiggling red censor bars lol. Only way this episode could have been better if your starting theme used steel drums lol. Cheers my brahs!

Very good episode, while Jay says they're looking at it from a contemporary perspective and to expect to just hear some lads enjoying the show I really appreciated the background into the sleazy and "allegedly" illegal activities of the company. I somehow have zero recollection of this event. Girls Gone Wild was all over my tv when I was in my teens. I watched a lot of late night Comedy Central back then. As a teenage boy ready to stick his Horace in anything. Girls Gone Wild seemed like an awesome concept. Years later, my father gave me his massive Girls Gone Wild DVD collection (yes, I know that's weird). I took them, I watched one and was bored off my skull. It's like 58 minutes of chit chatting and maybe 2 minutes of bare, jiggling Linda's.

Utter nonsense. You clearly got lousy titles out of all the G G W releases. Some of the hottest, up close pu$$, ever, on those videos. Either with m@sturb@ting chicks, or lezzzing out, or "tw3rking" with no bottoms, one of my favorite sights EVER. Quite a few fake orgs, but some HOT @$$ real ones too.

I'd almost forgotten how amazing Stacy kiebler legs were

It was either Girls Gone Wild or George Foreman infomercials - there were also a bunch of infomercials for horrible products like scooters/yoyos/pain relief products - they were pretty much all hilarious to get high and make fun of. Also with really late night viewing you had the possibility of catching some really crazy stuff on Univision or Telemundo - crazy Spanish language soap operas and stuff. I remember watching one show - couldn't understand a word of it - but eventually a guy got sucked into a cheesy CGI vortex of fire and there was a guy with a gorilla mask that was never really explained to me (at least not visually). Early 2000's late night TV in America - good times.
