Fun fact: All the wrestlers in the Post Malone pack are music related. Headbangers - Obvious, they are metalheads. Honky Tonk Man - Again, obvious. Elvis ripoff gimmick. Jimmy Hart - Had a successful musical career and produced WWE themes in the 80s and 90s. Sherri - Sang Shawn Michaels' theme. I like what they did there, packing them all with a musical guest character.

Dude I’ve starting doing this thing in universe mode where I set the matches and universe to the way I like, skip to a PPV and just spectate the matches as an audience member since you can free roam the camera. I’m literally watching dream matches it’s awesome

The funny thing for us WWE 2K modders on PC is that it's literally a single line of code to fix the problem with Nighttime WM40 not appearing in Universe Mode. I fixed the problem in under 2 minutes. Sadly, console users cannot benefit from this.

Universe mode is my favorite mode and my biggest problem is I set up a huge wrestlemania match card for example. 14 matches. And even if I save then leave universe mode after saving I go back to it later and it automatically changed my matches. Wether its changing title matches to non title matches or changing up the wrestlers in the match entirely. It’s so annoying. Does anybody else experience this stuff?

Yeah it happens sometimes when you don’t exit the universe properly, I recommend exiting to the main menu and then closing the app. Or it could honestly be that you have too many participants on a show. That seems to cause a lot of glitches in my universe. I had to recreate my universe and start over bc the glitches became to unbearable, I couldn’t even edit entrances or move sets.

I turned off automatic rivalries, the matches make more sense but still issues with belts not being on the line when you come back k to play.

When it come to WWF/WWE though I got use to because when I really started watching, not just through games or other media, it was WWE. Granted I still laugh my ass of when I’m watching an interview and they say WWE in reference to an old WWF era show. Even more so when the subtitles still say WWF 😂. Like yeah I get the name change from PPV to PLE, it does make since. But seriously? Trying to retroactively call old shows that? Especially when every KZreadr, non affiliated documentaries, and other promotions still use PPV? I get it, maybe I’m just set in my old ways, but PPV still rolls off the tongue better. Also technically some still pay PPV prices(seriously don’t know who seeing how you can get Peacock for like 10 months instead)

@@PapaBear0114 I agree plus also on a personal note I call it WWF cos I'm in UK I was at the very last WWF branded show it was either Rebellion or insurrexion 2002 I know it was one of those cos it was Manchester here in England I was about 17.

Another glitch I have noticed since the latest update has been that parts on some of my downloaded CAWs have changed or disappeared, some in dramatic ways.

When it comes to day/ night arena. It should be a setting in universe mode where the show starts during the daytime and ends at night. So we don’t have to keep switching. Example by the time you get to the Middle of the PLe it should be dark outside

@@t.styles2k202 yes, but in the game, they are separate arenas, even if it’s js day and night, they are two different entities in the game.

The World Heavyweight Championship still has the visual bug that they said they fixed.

Do you think it will ever be possible to have an outdoor stadium that transitions from daytime to nighttime while you play through the card?

When we get the WCW pack I really want to see the Judy Bagwell on a forklift match.

The strange thing is Sheamus' music and video was his classic theme with his persona card.

Honky Tonk man is the star of the next DLC. Love my old school wrestlers.

As someone with a good amount of caws and custom stuff like deleting images or even downloading can change stuff like tat, face scans, and other custom images that’s been my main problem

I find the question mark gaps in the roster annoying. I got the Mania edition, so I'd have everything, and yet I don't have everything. I don't like or enjoy MyFaction. Give me the cards or let me buy the cards outright. It's so ridiculous.

Same here. I really don't like My Faction, it's not a mode I enjoy playing. Wish they could just make the persona cards available to buy separately. But, alas, that would keep 2K from squeezing every last penny out of us.

@@ProudZillaFan I hadn't planned on buying it this year. They drew me in with Bray Wyatt, although I'm disappointed we didn't get the Live In Fear/Wyatt family theme music. That and Punk being back swayed me. They are going to have to do something special to get a penny from me next year. Especially considering create mode having the same glitch for 3 years.

I agree, at some point just let us buy them. Like after a few months ether put them in cheaper packs that are specifically for getting them (still somewhat randomly but more often) or just buy them outright from a marketplace. I remember when CTR:Nitro Fueled came out they did similar stuff with online grinding. At the end of the month they gave you the option to buy all that stuff at the end, minus ranking rewards. Doom:Eternal did it as well after the first year or so. They also redid the events but with quicker reward rates

My universe is bugged AF, its almost unplayable for me :( i cant put alternative attires to anyone, sometimes the model of the character will randomly change, like, im playing as Kevin Owens, with its entrance and everything but the model can be a random wrestler like Jinder Mahal, Sanga, ETC.

I Love How We Gorget Yukes Left 2K In The Middle Of 2K22. I Don’t Blame 2K Alot Of What They Had Was Stuff Yukes Created. They Didnt Wanna Start Over To Keep The Fan Base In Tact. If Anything Blame Yukes They Should Have Stayed Or Took The WWE Games On As A Solo Studio. WWE Wanted 2K More Then 2K Wanted Them Just Being Real.

Matt, I would love to see a combi for sensational sherri, playable star but sensational Queen Sherri as a manager for macho king randy savage with the duo carry thrown to the ring like randy and sherri had at wm 6 and 7 now that because it would make the macho king attire more exact to correctness as him walking to the ring never really happened at mania or possibly any macho king entrances

I probably will be one of the few, but not having the nighttime Wrestlemania 40 area in Universe mode really doesn't bother me. As long as it doesn't blow up anything else, I can live with that.

we need an extra backstage areana.....the 2k18 backstage neeeds to come back as an option for certain match types

I agree with you. I Played my rise female version, and I had a match with Rhea, and we went backstage, and it was boring. We need the WWE2K18 backstage area.

I have the deluxe edition & WM40 simply patched in with the update. I didn't buy the 40 years of Mania version 🤷🏾‍♂️

I downloaded a Raven creation and got a dang "An error occurred while retrieving the latest data from the server" I haven't been able to connect online in 5 days. Anybody know how to fix this?

There's still a bug for me where the game crashes when trying to use patterns in create an arena. It's been like that since day 1 and they haven't fixed it.

I'm the most excited for Sensational Sherri out of this upcoming DLC. This I believe will be the first time she is playable (she was previously a manager in I think 2k16). I hope they give us her rendition of Shawn's theme

I wish they’d make it a little easier to get mfp, I get they want people to spend money but it would be nice if it didn’t take like 20 hours to buy a 10 deluxe bundle, even if they doubled the amount of mfp earned I think a lot of people would still buy VC rather than grind and the people who weren’t going to buy vc anyway would just have to spend less time grinding the same matches over and over.

I'm concerned as to what happens when 2K24 servers go offline. Will the Persona cards be completely unobtainable? Will we just be stuck with question marks on our menus forever if we don't unlock them all? It honestly seems pretty scummy that 2K expect people to put so much time, effort, and money into this mode to collect cards considering that, if 2K22 is anything to go by, the mode, and thus the cards, won't even be accessible by January 2026. Makes the whole thing feel completely pointless imo. You'll ultimately have nothing to show for it...

I mean they've done it for years with their NBA 2K franchise. They don't care about the fans losing their money. All they care about is getting suckers to buy into these modes where they sell cards on a yearly basis and are forced to repeat and rebuild their collection year after year. Modern gaming as basically adapted Gatcha/F2P mechanics and because it's what devs focus on the most the game as a whole suffers because all they care about getting people to buy packs.

You own nothing that'll be £120 every 12 months please...my main beef is I actually legit enjoyed the mode but if you dare take months off you're screwed for events because you need some card that had timed availability and that snowballs into you basically being locked out of the mode because you then need 5 cards you didn't grind for to get this one

@@thekingofkingsrp I hear ya I have hobbies outside of gaming and enjoy going outside the best iteration of this idea was in Ea UFC 2 that was actually really fun until they nerfed the single player rewards to force online play

I’ve heard through the grapevine (don’t know how true this is) the reason the WrestleMania 40 (Daytime) is only available in Universe Mode is because once you do a full show, the arena will swap over to Night automatically while playing through the show. I hope this made sense lol.

Why isn't international or WCW DLC before Pat and Post Malone who don't wrestle at all? Mangers you can't even use because they take the turnbuckle off every 2 min.

Hope someone makes Jimmy in the Hulk Hogan jacket.... never had him like that and always have him as a bad guy, gonna be neat if so

That would be a Brilliant idea. Just like it used to be back in the day. GM Universe is a spot on idea they need to implement.

2k24 its has so much potential but all the bugs had made the experience pretty bad.

When you use the WrestleMania XL arena in play now matches, it puts it in random locations and not Philly.

Has anybody noticed any difference with the MyFaction stability since the new patch? It still seems uncahnged after the patch. I;m still getting booted a lot. Also, has anyone noticed that when you start a match that sometimes it goes right into AI vs. Ai?

I hope the nighttime version of WrestleMania 40 gets a patch soon because it has a generic loading screen instead of the actual WrestleMania 40 loading screen when loading up a match.

I saw online a screen shot of a Jakara Jackson model, doing her entrance with the lolipop, may be a mod, but I don't know, a few months back it was leaked by status a render for her that was supposed to be in the game, so maybe, they can patch Meta Four in the game

Managers should be free patch ins. Charging for characters who just stand outside the ring and climb on the apron during a pin is a bit screwy to me. I guess next they'll be charging for extra referees.

I wouldn't worry about grinding the Persona cards if you are willing to pay for them. I think they will release a DLC seperate to the season pass towards the end of the games cycle. Like they did last year with the Bad Bunny Pack.

There’s already tournaments in the game, but I’d like to sign my own tournament have my own trophy. i’d really like to see for my rise being a Paul Hayman guy you come in as the next big thing tearing through the roster until you get to the championship that would fun

The extra bonuses like arenas, weapons etc. is what these DLCs have been really missing. I hope the Pat friends pack gives us good new stuff because nobody wants the characters.

On a scale of 1 to 10 for this latest pack it's a .5 and only because I love Sensational Sherri and like you having announcers say "Sensational Share E" annoys me lol. I have tried to like my faction but I can't man. It's pretty ridiculous games in 2000 had I Quit matches but 2K is yet to have one

I saw on Twitter something about the next pack having a Hidden Blade animation that would be good for Ospreay caws. Probably not true but dammn that would be cool af

Can't play any of CC arenas.

Considering that the game costs at much as a AAA game, if you bought the 40 years of WM Edition, even more, it is incredible how man many bugs this game still has. To a part even bugs that did exists many WWE 2k versions ago.Not talking about some content. Like you still can't do tournements in Universe mode. Well you can RR in every arena you like, but the clock and and the name plate are not selectable, regardless if you would like to have a classic RR or one in a fictional promotion. You just get the look for the current RR. And those are just 2 examples!

They should just let you choose the exact time of day like Madden, and have the day turn into night as you play through the matches.

New models of existing roster members or older ones who returned during the production of the game would be nice. Like mentioned they have the old models and moves, just patch them in. A few new matches would be nice as well but yeah not holding the breath. At least keep the old ones in the next installment.

I can't even download anything else. Somehow my "images has reached 1000" and I can't download anymore wrestlers, arenas, or anything unless I clear up stuff. So I delete bunch of images, wrestlers, arenas, and what not. Then I get the same message telling me I've hit 1k...how and why is this still a thing .

The problem with Wrestlemania 40 arena from the community creations is that the entire ramp section is dark during the entrance. I recently downloaded this arena on the pc version, and nothing has changed

You get wrestlemania for arena not from the four years of wrestling in your pack comes with the season pass. That’s how I got it.

There are still over 15 game breaking onling mode glitches.. Since wwe2kk23… so what does that tell you on effort department?

I hate to CC names people give them. I always change them and try to make a name that fits better or use their real names. Unfortunately Edge and Copeland arent in the files so I've had to use his real first and middle name. Its silly that they cant just keep name files in the list. Theyre just words.

I think a demon Finn Balor would be an amazing persona card, Also Love The Content Matt.

@Assemble also my problem with 2k I think it would make sense if for them to give us creat a story from 2k14 and completely get rid of universe mode all together might be better for 2k overall

They tried giving us buyable cards and they fucked that up, that ship has sailed man. I say we need these as locker codes only, no buying shit or anything like that. I say it's time for a change to my faction that we want and I say if they're gonna do persona cards then they NEED to be available only as locker codes. Honestly, how it's working now doesn't make me want to even play myfaction.

I pulled Becky on my second pack. Was in complete shock. Thought I broke the game- the pulls are never that nice.

People have found Ospreay's Hidden Blade and Mike Bailey's Ultima Weapon and Flamingo Driver in the game files!

They should allow you to change WWE stars how ever you want. But I guess if they do you won't buy/grind etc to get 7 versions of someone.

Hey Matt, if you have 2ks ear here is a great Idea that they won’t do but none the less on the pat Mcafee dlc pack they should give Pats friends entrance themes we want like Dx,evolution;old Kane etc. That might make that pack go down easier but this is just wishful thinking.

Wrestlemania 40 night isn't selectable in universe most

I'd really like for 2K25 to have a VASTLY less strict MyGM mode. It sucks being 7 seasons deep, with my own internal Canon, then having to restart it all because I want to make active new characters that 2K drops. I would love to be able to customize the season a lot more, as well. Sort of a blend of Universe and GM. I want to pick what PLEs are on the calendar, I want to have custom arenas (they could even make me build one per upgrade slot, so I still had leveling to do) i want to be able to have custom attire on my characters, maybe make my own championships. I know this kind of stuff is IN Universe mode, but I like being in charge of the internal Canon of the seasons, I like having a rival show and fighting over ratings and money. Please 2k, combine Universe and MyGM so that MyGM feels much less restrictive. 🥺😂

For some odd reason I can access the WrestleMania XL Day time arena but not the night time.

WWE 14 by THQ and Yukes did a much better wrestlemania mode.

Kinda sucks you can't use WM40 Night time Arena in Universe.

Anyone else want an arcade type of wrestling game? I enjoy the simulation game but would definitely love an arcade type of wrestling game.

They can easily give us The Dumpster match. Just reskin the casket match. Weapons give us thumbtacks,fire extinguisher,trash can lid,or cookie sheet. New match type i would love to see the fight pit, or the kennel from hell

The nighttime version of WrestleMania 40 needs to be patched in on universe mode ASAP. I’m glad for people who brought the 40 years of WrestleMania edition get to have fun using it. Thanks for the update Matt. Keep up the good work.
