No more excuses from 2K. This is their last chance. They would of had two and a half years to work on this. It needs to be feature complete with all the match types and a creation suite and it needs to have GM mode along with the other stuff we asked for. If this game sucks then they deserve to get the license taken away from them.

i was literally playing Ric flair vs Roddy piper and the commentators started to talk about randy ortan vs triple h

when ricochet hit the mat during the flip in the trailer the ring moves a bit hopefully that actually happens during a match like in 2k14 where the ring shakes whenever you do a move

@@hh5559 The faction did reunite on Raw this week (minus the injured MVP) after the faction split up before this year's WrestleMania so it is possible The Hurt Business could be a default stable in 2K22 since the game is releasing in 2022. But whether we can create a stable or an in-game stable like The Way is another question. The Way's uniqueness is that The Way is 2 men and 2 women which lets them compete in the tag team divisions of both sexes (Indi Hartwell & Candice LaRae for the Women's and Johnny Gargano & Austin Theory in the Men's) in real life but in a WWE game we can't do that yet without creating 2 tag teams.

I'd say The FBI's probably going to be Little Guido/Nunzio, Tony Mamaluke, Tracy Smothers, Tommy Rich and Big Sal. Get the most iconic incarnation of the group in there and maybe include some classic attires for Smothers and Rich's older gimmicks.

Games had higher quality before online access. There was actually QC process before release. If they’re delaying to do QC then this is a good thing. Nowadays the later the better. Look at madden it never misses its release but it’s the same game every year for 5-6 year intervals.

This game will never change until they get new developers. It’s the same thing every year. Gameplay, entrances, generic commentary, physics. Also when are they going to bring back custom soundtracks? That’s one of the things that use to make this game enjoyable.

Can't. Besides known changes in hardware between the PS3+360 generation consoles & PS4/5+Xbox One/Xbox One X, ongoing legal copyright issues and singers & songwriters not getting paid royalties for their music if fans were to simply port their songs to console directly without actually compensating the musicians themselves actively prevent Custom Music from returning.

As in, what these simulation pro wrestling (excuse me, sports-entertainment) games attempt to strive for, as they try to replicate the televised product, right down to the haphazard booking (see WWE Universe Mode, although fan-made alterations can make even that mode in the video games far better than how bad the current situation has consistently been for the past 20+ years regarding ongoing questionable booking decisions/lack of solid storytelling/forcibly scripted promos with cringe-inducing dialog/senile Vince micromanaging all aspects of the product when doesn't have "it" anymore if he ever did at all, at least not without leeching off the success of others [learning from NWA in terms of maintaining longevity but almost killing it by gutting the territory system in favor of national expansion through cable TV & nowadays via online streaming, piggy-backing off Eric Bischoff & the nWo in terms of introducing the evil boss concept and having a domineering faction with its hand-picked champion to back him up, mooching off of Paul Heyman's ECW since it is what spawned the controversial edginess/blunt sex appeal/hardcore brawling style the Attitude Era primarily profited from, etc.]) & abysmal, ham-fisted commentary (WWE video games with commentary overall have sucked since the beginning, it just took until the 2014 firing of Jim Ross along with the eventual NXT exit of Mauro Ronallo for the real-life commentary to wind up being on par with the dogshit regurgitated sound bites used ad nauseum for the main line video games)

Desperately needs all the match types from 2k14 and a story designer feature. They’ve got to nail the features this year. They’ve had the series for too long and if this game with its delayed release date is a bust we need a new company to take over.

I'd love for weapons to be brought to the top rope and ladder. And even a chair on a table. They also need to fix moves through the table with double team moves. Hopefully they have monthly updates like nba 2k

The Kane attire is actually kinda cool. It meshes well enough to me

It could mean the game will probably sell less if other wrestling games are coming out at the same time. But it could also mean nonwrestling games will be out as well meaning that every one will just skip it

Hopefully it’s out by March 5th because that’s my birthday . I don’t mind that the roster is outdated or not as long as it runs smoothly with less glitch then I’m good because I don’t have high expectations for the game like everyone else.

What i personally would love to see is that they make the submission victory easier and especially a whole lot faster to achieve. In comparison with the pin win,a submission win takes a long time to get.

It's supposed to. Pins can be earned through unfair, cheap methods (move spamming [especially if said moves are unable to be blocked/they can't be reversed], repeated stored finishers [according to the default match options/settings, finishers tend to deal the most damage anyway, so the ability to store multiple finishers can often appear beneficial & easily swing the flow of a match in favor of the person with multiple finishers], dirty pins [i.e. putting your foot against or on the ropes while pinning an opponent] that the ref fail to see & reliance on/dependency to use weapons [naturally, weapon hits cause greater damage far quicker to start with, however they are even more impactful when used illegally when the ref's distracted or has been knocked out himself during regular matches]), whereas you have to legitimately wear down your opponent before applying a submission hold capable of ending a match, much like how it would be in actual televised pro wrestling & in genuine UFC/MMA fights. The struggle to earn a submission victory is part of the simulation aspect of wrestling video games attempting to properly emulate the real-life product.

@@TherealRNOwwfpooh If we talk about an MMA game then no complaints here,struggling for an submission win in the gameplay is only normal because it fits its purpose...like you mentioned in a way and besides,it's always a 1 on 1 concept so you automatically accept the submission mini game if you play a MMA game. But this is about a wrestling game here so that legitimacy is not so....valid here let's say. Because wearing down an opponent,that's what the limb damage system is for and then apply the submission move and be done with it. In wrestling matches you see guys tapping out from a move fast too so it shouldn't be a problem to implement it into a game or at least make it into an option if you want it or not. Unlike MMA games wrestling games you can select matches with more opponnents than just 1 on 1 so if you play as somebody with only submission move(s) and you want to play a fatal 4 way or whatever,you are always screwed because of that duration that it needs to get that submission win. I am not here to say what is wrong and what isn't,i am just pointing out that the duration (submission win) is a big pain in the ass. 😅 I understand your reply completely but this about an wrestling game,it's different experience than a MMA game so it doesn't need to be so....strict in lack of a better word.

I truly don't care about attires and how current or outdated they are, as long as it fits the gimmick. Alexa needs at 2021 attire. Jeff Hardy doesn't. But Jeff Hardy recently got his theme music back, and THAT is what does matter. Theme music and moves can't be created, so they need to be accurate.

7 months away and they could change the roster. 7 months and WWE could quit 2K developer and find another game developer. 7 months of absolute silence on Twitter, up until January. My own input on the date March 2022 It sounds like a placeholder date as usually a proper release date would come with a number. March 22nd 2022? I think it’s definitely a placeholder date. Upto March 2022 as WWE have given them notice, they have until March 2022 to impress WWE. Or they’re gone. Placeholder attires in trailers, it’s not uncommon to see that. I remember back on Day of reckoning there was superstars entrances that had missing Titantrons, as well as music, that was outdated. - reason I remember this was because IGN use to have a place where you’d see all the clips and images of future WWE games, and every day of the week they’d be a different superstars entrance released. Same with SVR games. But things are different now.

As much as the wait is gonna suck it's very good there they aren't rushing it. Should be a good one

2K should add New Feutures every year for update to keep the gane to date. Then create a WWE 2k series with a different branding and Improval Reusing this quote of :”Its Hits Different “. Like imagine a game like the old Smackdown : Shut you Mouth or Raw is War for XBOX. Like Imagine 2k Present : WWE RAW It feels Different” instead of It Hits Different, and then a Smackdown Series : Are You Ready before coming back with 2K: Smackdown VS RAW ft : NXT Series. Why does everyone think the game has been delayed to WrestleMania? From a marketing standpoint, wouldn't you think selling your video game at the same time that more people than ever watch the product is smart business? 2k22 never had an official release date, therefore it can't be officially delayed. And unless I missed a statement from 2k officials, this could have been the plan all along, to move the release to WrestleMania season.
