So, a couple of things to note: 1) As I stated multiple times in the video, take this tier list with a huge grain of salt, nothing is ever final and the idea of this video, first and foremost is to give a basic overview of the character with some background footage so you can get the feel for them. 2) The footage shown here is mostly from the Global server, as you can see characters are low level but keep in mind I played A TON on CBT2 but after publishing the review video, I didn't record footage anymore, just kept playing. So this video is mostly made up of Global+CBT2 footage for the character's basic gameplay (it's mostly there to just give something to look at while I overview the character) 3) Most important of all - don't feel pressured to pull for any character, it's a gacha game after all, if you find you like someone to main - do it! Tbh, I actually mained Taoqi and Lingyang on CBT2 and I think most of the lower tier placements might be bumped up in the next few weeks as the community of players start contributing to theorycrafting and just reporting their findings. 4) I am hoping to release a few more WuWa guide videos in the next 24-36 hours, so as always, a like and subscribe is appreciated for the support :)

I agree. I like early tier lists, because it's an early game and i wanna build characters that can help me push through content right now. I don't really care for "long term" characters who'll be "viable" after a year or 2 years. I'm not gonna wait that long to build characters. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

I haven't read the ability descriptions yet, I'm barely into the tutorial, but so far I feel like the translations even for dialogue feel just a tiny bit rough around the edges. I hope that improves over time.

Monk girl is awesome, its not only the meaty shields, the crowd control and the awesome kung fu moves, she also AUTO COUNTERS when charging her skill and when casting the shield which does massive damage and since its AOE Ive broken several enemies guards at once with her. As a sub dps-support she is perfect, when you need to give your main dps a break, switch to her and she can hold on her own with no problem, she fits the brawler role perfectly since she can tank hits and also do damage, and her gameplay is just crazy good, watching her do those auto counters while she charges up Chi makes it feel so OP. Imagine Goku charging up Chi and enemies just bouncing of him, Genshin could never... lol

This brings back memories

Can't wait to see how this one ages

I just got Lingyang from the Novice banner. I wasn't part of CBT but I heard about his hitbox issues, but it seems like they patched that because I haven't had any issues playing him so far. I'm not sure how he'll hold up in the long run, but he's been pretty fun to play so far!

I got Verina on the 8 pull banner and honestly can't complain, I wonder how much this tier list will change in the future

Jianxin is great! Big ulti damage boost for the next character on outro + heals + damage negation + decent damage for a support. She is basically a mortefi for ulti damage + everything else she does. I think she would be a great support for Encore maybe? Also Chixia is amazing as an execute unit if you have her constelation. So you main another unit, break shield, swap to her (give her that weapon that boost her skill after swap) then unload, then ult. If the enemy is low health she does bonkers damage before shield regened.

Got Calcharo on my first 10 pull. @_@ I was kinda hoping to get more discounted 10 pulls, but at least I can go for the 5s selection banner sooner, I guess?

I did the event with taoqi BC I wanted a fun challenge and she was really fun to play with, once you figure out the timings and how her kit works she becomes really cool to use, she is not good but she deserves a little love

Honestly loving lingyang, noticed he deals a lot of damage over time and is honestly just fun to play

Note: Taoqi is not exactly low damage, rather low dps due how her Resolving Caliber works. She can deal a good chunk of damages in burst manners by utilizing stacks, but then it takes some time to build them up again via parries. Still, you can just use them once for shield and swam for your dps and have a nearly 100% of your dps hp in shields, which is neat, plus you can have a bonus damage if you get to outro

ah reminds me of the "D tier bennet" tier lists from genshin 1.0. i'll reserve judgement, as my first impressions of characters in genshin have always been more accurate to their real power than any tier list ever

You would know why Bennett was D tier in 1.0, The lack of actual game content and dps and knowledge (being relatively new), the same way Physical was renowned as the go-to damage in 1.0. This will obviously be the same case for WuWa as its, well, 1.0 lol? More characters will come and more synergy will be introduced. Your insinuating that this tier list will be wrong, when in reality it just will change. But unlike Genshin, WuWa's fights take TIME and SKILL, this isn't your vape and melt one hit nuke showcase. So actual numbers do matter in faster fights, but healing and supports take the spotlight.

I wish it had controller support (Since i thought it'd fix my issue i got with the camera) But it is new, so I also didn't expect it to have it. Camera is kinda weird. Like jittery... But it isn't unplayable, it doesn't really bother me, just something I noticed. But then again, maybe gotta mess with the settings or is just a bug, which is to be expected. They gotta flush out the bugs. I'm still thankful for all the devs have done ❤

Yo my fellow expecienced Gacha Gamers, im new and have a team comp question: i have verina as supp and danjin as dps, as i think thats a perfect fit, but is sanhua or jianxin a better fit as support dps? i like jianxin more so if its a close thing i would just go for jianxin but if sanhua fits much much better in this comb I would chose her, help would be appreciated :D

Depends on ur playstyle tbh. If u can parry/dodge well use sanhua. If not use jianxin for the shield. Im personally running calcharo, sanhua, verina rn but when I get jianxin im probably swapping out sanhua.

join xlice in the jianxin cult and put her s tier for variety guys. she may not do it as well as dedicated role characters but she does them damn well for so many different roles and stuff

Mortefi is maybe a better option than Danjin if you wanna buff your Jiyan's damage. For your Danjin, you can put it in a second team with Havoc Rover and a support/healer character, Havoc Rover and Danjin work really well together.

Am I the only one with graphics issues. It’s laggy, the frame rate is horrible and motion blur is an issue. I play on an iPhone 13 which runs genshin perfectly fine. Iv tried adjusting setting but still not much better. I hope it’s different on my ps5

Same here. Playing on mobile and the game crashes every 20 or 30 minutes

Personally i really enjoyed using rover. i even cleared all the stages and challenges in stable zone using lvl 50 rover alone

this game runs like garbage on my rig with a ryzen 5800x3d and a rtx 4080. not because of the frame rate, which it stick to 60 all the time, but because of the HORRID frame pacing. it's at 60fps, but at times it looks like 20. also they locked out 120hz mode and it's so annoying, because 120fps would be so much better even if the terrible frame pacing remains. this game should not have been released in this state. it needs at least a couple more months of optimizations
