I just got the job to work as a busser in their dining room, it seems like a relatively small dining room, so I’m glad for that!

Boy! Has it changed since I worked there in the winter of 74'-75'.

We stayed at the old lodge, no phone service or TV. It was lovely!

I worked in Sequoia Kings Canyon in the late 80's it was Giant Forest Lodge at that time. looks like things have changed a lot. I loved the year and a half I spent there.

We stayed at Giant Forest in 1996. I believe the facility was torn down the next year. We didn't think they would build a new lodge in Sequoia, but Wuksachi was finished by our next visit to the park.

I would like to know if it is handicapped accessible? My husband has ALS and uses a motorized w/c and this place is on his bucket list.

Yes. Employees have a golf cart available to transport guests and their luggage from the registration area to each of the three lodge buildings.

Are you sure that was a superior room? It looks more like a deluxe room.
