Wuhan Night Walk, China's Most Livable Modern City By The Yangtze River
Hello everyone, I had a great time shooting at night in Wuhan.
I have four places to share with you.
One is Wuhan MIXC shopping mall, the other is Wuhan Tanhualin Old Street, the third is Hubu Lane, and the fourth is the night scene of the river beach near Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge.
Let's take a look at what ordinary people in Wuhan are doing on hot summer nights.
I hope you like it.
Life is returning to normal in Wuhan in central China a year after authorities sealed off the city of 11 million for 76 days, confining people to their homes.

I taught English in Wuhan 10 years ago. Spent 9 months there. For years I had to explain where and what Wuhan was to people, once I left. Certainly don't have to do that anymore..... My school was on the Wuchang side of the bridge. Would get my bowl of Reg' from a very old couple down an alley every morning. Still been chasing that taste ever since! City looks completely different here. Amazing the change in only a decade. There were only two Metro lines at the time, so getting around took forever!! My understanding is that there are Metro lines everywhere now. Missed out on that. Hope my students are doing ok and thriving!
But the way they showed WUHAN as a pandemic Affected, weak, dangerous city! Now I am really really shocked to see its Beauty and Strength. Go on China. Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩.

There is a guy from my town. He is proffesional football player, went to a tier 1 city to play football. When he arrived he thought to himself "Wow its so spacious here. I see palm trees and prosperity here." He thought to himself "Is this Miami or what". I hope more people can visit China to see the reality

Love the acoustics of these large malls..... these sounds are like the echos of mountain streams.... Cool as.... plenty of life... Calls of kids to their friends and busy mum's.....

It is now one of the top tier cities. Remember as well that there are dozens of previously tier 2 cities elevated to top tier status by relevant authorities. Wuhan, Chengdu, Chongqing, Changsha and Qingdao are just some of the examples

The second-tier cities tend to be the most modern. First-tier Beijing and Shanghai can appear a bit vintage due to being older

@Dayan Barron Regardless of where it started, it DEFINITELY DID NOT start in Wuhan. They found traces of Covid in Italy dating back months before it appeared in Wuhan.
The scenery and the nightly cityscape around anywhere at Yangtze always is different and exciting really

Still love this town.first Chinese city I've ever visited. Because of it I had to adjust my impression of size. If Berlin was a 10 of 10 it hit my scaling with a 40 of 10 ;-) Hopefully quarantine restrictions will be lifted soon to enable comfortable travel again :-/

We've been to Wuhan some 15 yrs ago from there cruises along the great Yangtze River with stops at Huangshan, Lushan , and Taishan Shandong Province including stops at Confucius hometown Kufu then flew to the hotter climate Hainan Island China's Hawaii!

在这个无人机横飞的时代，依旧靠双腿以人视角度走街串巷，从繁华到市井，从景观大道，到归家小径，镜头真实，内容细腻。你的视频为世界展示了真实的中国，如果纯个人行为，我觉得国家应该给你搬个奖。可惜这次你来错了地方，因为这里是武汉，从小父亲就告诉我：“紧走慢走，三天走不出个大汉口”，光是汉口就这么大，汉阳和武昌你要走多久，还是开车吧。我的大学就在武汉光谷上的，那会儿2号线还没通的时候，每次坐机场大巴要1个半小时才能到机场。我的印象中，很多年前，中国人传统观念中只对两个城市有“大”的概念，一个是“大上海”，一个是“大武汉”，从没听说过大北京大广州之类的，后来这个“大“字被很多城市用烂了。一开始很不屑，后来我觉得除了网络炒作和个人家乡情怀外，一个根本事实是，中国的城市化进程已经达到了空前的规模。

This is how it is in China for thousands of years. Always ahead of the game. Only in the recent century of humiliation did they go backwards (we blame the Qing dynasty), but now China is catching up fast and in many aspects surpass many 1st world countries, like someone in the comments said, once you go China, most of the rest of the world is vintage
