A test of the Emergency Broadcast System from WTXF-TV, the FOX affiliate of Philadelphia, PA. This was aired during a commercial break of “Thundercats” sometime in 1990. I quite like the graphics used in this one. EBS slides are way more interesting than EAS ones IMO.

I saw this on the Thundercats commercial break on here and I almost started crying because I've been looking for WTXF's test for decades now since that red EBS logo has been blurred in my mind since I was a little kid. The loud tone frightened me so much back in the day that I always had to race to turn the TV all the way down whenever I saw this logo come up.
NEVER thought I’d see this again! Boy, does this bring back childhood memories from watching Fox 29 back in the day!😮

You should thank @thevhsquest4777 really for originally capturing it as part of his video. I only clipped the test and posted it on its own.
I'll be honest, three slides with different shaped backgrounds looks strange, plus the middle slide is quite scary looking.

This is certainly one of the more interesting tests out there.
Interesting that they used three different “EBS” backgrounds for this test presentation.

I’m pretty sure WSAZ had like four different backgrounds during their tests.
This Chyron Scroll Is Poorly Written With Every Word Capitalized Like Someone Was A Slow Fifth Grader!
