Wouldn't be surprising if Stryker managed to re-capture Creed and experiment upon him...including both messing with Creed's memories, AND making Creed more animalistic.

Tyler Mane was better because he played someone who was barely human. Liev played more of a serial killer, but still very human in mannerisms besides the occasional roars. It could be a story where Sabretooth slowly evolved into a more Feral state which eventually becomes Mane's version. Or he went through augmentation in order to match or surpass Logan.

Both wolverine and sabertooth carry an x gene that would eventually turn them into wild animals, it happens to Logan often as well.

@@beentheredonethat5908 Doesn't the adamantium in Logans skeleton halt this process though? I think I remember reading it in one of the storylines, it gives off very low radiation that halts any further mutation. When he lost the metal the mutation advanced fast.

The braindead belief that "adamantium stops Wolverine from becoming feral" was started from X-Men 25; wherein Wolverine is mentally broken & driven insane from the pain of having adamantium forcibly ripped out of his body by Magneto (keep in mind that the pain from this was so severe that his healing factor is completely overwhelmed & burnt out during the process). The psychological break from the pain causes Wolverine to turn feral, but it has nothing to do with his mutation lmao The reason Sabretooth is animalistic is simply due to his mindset/personality, and he actually trumps Logan in terms of raw intellect.

Liev is better for me

Honestly we see him getting more and more feral in each war during the intro ,he started running like a beast during ww2 ,so i guess you could say his mutation got worse for some reason like an experiment gone wrong (beast wasnt blue before he tried fixing himself),or naturally ,so it wouldnt be a stretch. But yes the makers likely didnt plan or care about anything lol.

In the comics Logan turned into a feral beast like Sabretooth when his Adamantium was removed. The Adamantium poisoning kept his mutation was fully manifesting. My head canon is that movie Sabretooth transformed into a feral beast due to the lack of Adamantium, unlike Logan. This does make sense since he and Logan were brothers in the film and have the same abilities.

Remember that Sabertooth in X-Men was tossing him around like Victor did and it was not Logan he was there for. I think if it were the same man, he knew Logan would survive so he intended to beat him up and do his mission and beat him up again later. Remember that Victor does not know Logan has lost his memories.

The explanation is Sabretooth in the first movie was just a way to include the character from the comics who is in those not Wolverines brother. In the Wolverine origen's they made Sabretooth into Wolverines brother because it would ne a better story, and they where nit worrying about consistency. In Wolverine Origen's He gets his metal in a different way to.

My head canon is this, it’s said that Logan’s metal skeleton, stops him from becoming more animalistic, The same could not be said, for Sabretooth he continued to mutate, and in turn forgetting his past with Logan.

@@Adam_X78 Yes, Wolverine's animalistic nature stems from his mutation; but it's not something that's constantly evolving, and it's not being held back by adamantium lol. That makes no sense. People that haven't read the comics seem to have mistakenly mixed up two facts about Logan. 1. The fact that his HEALING FACTOR is being held back by the adamantium in his body due to constantly fighting the poisoning from the metal. 2. The fact that Wolverine was mentally broken & turned feral from the pain of his adamantium being forcibly extracted. Tell me where they say that adamantium is holding him back from becoming more feral?

​@@Nykandros in real life...if Adamantium were real it would be a noble metal. Noble metals are not toxic. Healing factor or not its not gonna poison anyone. The only thing that would make sense is that his body sees it as a foreign object that it's constantly trying to get rid of but can't.

Different universes, that's the answer. Each movie is a part of it's own universe, not a continuation of the former movie.

Idont carre what pepole say tyler mane did good job as sabertooth in x1 he was awsome and he talk like sabertooth in comic but liev schiber still better then him for alot think but tyler mane is good too

I always wondered why he didn’t remember Logan.

Even with memory loss Wolvie would recognize Victors scent if it were the same Sabretooth, it’s a different universe/variant but Tyler’s version was a better contrast to Logan than Liev.

That big in origins when wolverine walks off into the forest leaving creed, Stryker, wade and others but sabertooth yells - “JIMMY! JIMMY!” 😂😂😂
