Totally agree, and the other few games I played where I got wrecked are testament to that haha you can't just push everything and live to tell the tale

The Italian battleship grind felt much longer then usual due to the fact that secondaries’ damage earn practically no xp, and naturally I put full secondaries on all of them because that’s what the specialize in

They force brawling with smaller maps and then punish you for it on the XP if the final shot is from the secondaries? So many poorly thought out decisions at times. Do they actually play the game?

The excuse for the reduced xp for secondaries caught me off guard. Why do they make secondary focused ships in the first place if they don't want to promote "passive" gameplay. Lazy excuse if I am being honest.

Been playing this ship a lot...so I went secondary build and not bad at all...the armor not bad either...struggle a bit at first but the wins are starting to happen..

I've had some "learning games" 🤣 but overall I'm enjoying this thing

To give you an idea of how underwhelming Schröder's guns are, they are basically Derfflinger's guns - a ship that is at half the tier that this thing is. The accuracy is not as disappointing though since she still has high tier cruiser sigma (2.05) and BC dispersion.

I've yet to use AL Cheshire so unsure how good she really is. If you use a radar build, agile Tennant can work. You gotta have balls of steel. Alternatively Fraser DPM is good, as is AL Neptune, or AL Belfast

I am excited for this ship, and I appreciate it's secondary prowess. It's understandable to play it 100% secondary build. I would buff the guns a little. with the Germans, my play-style is to catch enemies off-guard and do as much damage when they're vulnerable, that tends to be close range. however that's a very short time window and Schröder doesn't have torpedos, so I need to hope that my gun buffs please RNG warlords so 6 out my 8 shells won't have a picnic at the Marianna Trench.

This by far is the best secondary cruiser in the entire game. I love it. ❤🎉😊

Can’t wait to put my secondary Ohio against them. Willis legendary 3 with lev 16 von hipper and geisler. Secondary mod, legendary secondary mod, porcupine and properly meticulous. 2.4s base reload and 10.5k range. Still saving accommodations for lev 4 legendary Willis for another 5% base reload. It becomes a secondary machine gun with epic reload and if you get an early kill or two the damage from legendary mod does about 700 a hit. Tons of matches with withered and arsonist badges. Tons of fun.

I put pedro lima santos as an inspiration for secondary damage as well as main and torp damage on Pommern.

Okay, yeah, I'm coming back to ships this month. I'll give my 2 cents as to why. PREPARE FOR A LONG READ. GET WATER, POPCORN, SOMETHING XD Last campaign felt like a major... Well, let down. Yeah, Torpedo Meme boat, not like those aren't fun, but.. Nothing exciting. The Azur Lane event once more stole the show, and with it now behind us, I'm curious as to what Wargaming has in store for the rest of the year. All the content we've been asking for feels... Well, delivered. Clans, Training rooms, aside from new boats WG pulls out of it's grab-bag, there's nothing NEW. No new ports, nothing. Now, onto the boat. The Shröder looks pretty good. This feels like what I was missing on Agïr, it may not have enormous mains, but a secondary cruiser with the range to boot, this will be hilarious to run. Will probably break out AL Graf Spee and get the secondary commanders out, as to not change out my ones on AL Hipper. Overall, looks fun, and can't wait to grind for it. And of course, the Elephant in the room. Am I gunna buy from the Creatorverse crossover? Well, yes. I'm familiar with a LOT of the names on that list, but I'll only be picking up one, MoistCritikal. However, I think it's a total sham, and side with the Legends CCs, you guys should get total priority over any of that. It's a load of bull since these guys haven't played a minute of warships, but you grind for days on end on the content machine with Fellow CCs, and get nothing. I just wanna hear Big Moist say funny things on my boat, only reason why I'm getting him. Overall, 6/10 this month for the update. Shröder is the selling point here, German AP Cruisers are the only ones in the game that rival the AP of the Americans. If I had to pick a ship to duel a Baltimore in, I'm taking my Hipper any day of the week over ANYTHING (Since Eugen or Mainz is blatantly unfair, I respect a fair fight lol). Have yourself a fantastic update Legends, and turn the tide!!

Al Graf...I forget about that commander but now you got me thinking about a stealth build on Schroder. Could be saucy! As a CC I guess I don't care about the creators verse fiasco. If they bring 1000s of new players to the game it still benefits me as a creator. And im not so vain as to need a guise of myself 😆

@@DerkaGames From personal experience and playing, AL Hipper and AL Graf are nearly the same, they just have different base traits, though the stealth really does help. You will really see how each one performs differently on Mainz, but either way, good ship. Try to run full reloads, the Commanders themselves seem to have all the accuracy required for AP. Inspirations I use are Norman Scott/Mimbelli

I think secondaries and plane kills are two different things in WGs mind. The plane kills are a form of direct counterplay to a carrier, like damaging or disabling a turret on another surface ship. While secondaries are just a RNG cycling while you're in range of another ship.

For my commander I think I might run Ciliax with Von Hipper and Kuznetsov cause AL Bismarck will be my commander for Rupperecht and Schlieffen. Ciliax is also my secondary commander that has two inspiration slots, as Bismarck has only one.

Why ya gotta call out Jager? Having been a jager on your team this week (really).. I am feelling called out (not really.) Admittedly, our team was steam rolled. I think it is a fantastic ship that deserves a little less hate. Out of 89 games so far, I have won 58. I consider 65% win rate pretty decent. I am normally 1st by XP received. One of the big things people hate on are the guns. Out of the 97 ships I have destroyed, only 30 have been by main guns, but 31% of my kills on a dedicated torpedo boat feels significant to me. Its fantastic at capping, though everywhere I look, people say it isn't. When up close and knife fighting with another DD, you torps are absolutely viable. They are so fast that they get caught off guard. But let people keep underestimating it, thats how I got my kraken +1 in it recently. Regardless, keep making great content. You are the only WOWS legends youtuber I consistently enjoy watching.

I run Augustin Rieger with Kuznetsova and Mimbeli...no secondary mod...I go accuracy and range for the big guns..but use porcupine...I also select each target for secondaries...so kinda hybrid style...

Good video. I am seriously considering the Schroder (I usually keep away from Campaign Ships), and recently picked up the 'AL Bismarck' commander, so I'm all set there. For inspirations, I have various that buff secondaries - one I am looking at closely is the German CV commander, who buffs secondary reload speed. Not many can do THAT.

Got the Schroder. In her second test run (AI), she got into a knife-fight with a healthy Iowa and basically MELTED her. Liking this ship a lot, but easy to see her going the same way as Atlanta, Worcester and Minotaur, amongst others. These are all ships that opposing teams in Standard will priority-target on sight. The idea of an all-Schroder division does sound interesting though, it must be said.

I reckon rigerwald as the commander would be a shout

I think Otto cliax is a better choice you can get your fire chances up on secondary for advanced schemes and a little more damage now you could either choose porcupine or highly educated crew

Still agree with you on the secondary subject, that was a certified 4k game, their excuses is bad too so yeah... As for Schröder ? Most interesting ship this update for me, Vermont is boring and i hate the powercrep it brings, and Z-52 i won't have it till 2077 so i try to not set my eyes on her, though i would have love for Schröder to get torpedoes

GGs. I agree with them. In principle passively won points should generate less XP. I think the AA XP is the anomaly, rather than the rule. I hate this map with a passion and it gets served up a lot. If you;'re not in a german ship it really is the pits. Looking forward to Schroder tho, looks like fun,

There's absolutely nothing passive about secondary brawling. I've been needing a break from doing campaigns I've changed my mind at the last minute and grinded the last 3 campaigns in weeks 4 and 5, I decided this one was the one i take a break but i think you've just sold it to me.

russia. ijn has to go almost full broadside to get all guns on target. and their battleships are all garbage that can't hit fuck all beyond 6km. russia has good he on every ship with usable firing angles. garbage consumables and torpedoes though - it is glaringly obvious the developers are biased against russia and germany (germany should have far better accuracy, and italy).

Such a crime to carry so hard and barely get over 3k exp. The notion that it's because you don't have to "aim" the secondaries while the main battery has aim assist and the game showers you in exp for shooting down planes which you don't have to "aim" AA either is bullshit. Plus it takes way more skill to get into a position where your secondaries have the time and ability to do anything meaningful than it does to just aim down sight and move the curser forward a cunt hair or to just be an unlucky enough of a sap for the carrier to harass you all game. WG just hates brawlers lol

I have to say that you loose quality with your Videos, the Editing style etc was top Tier before you starting putting more Videos out. I liked way you build up the Videos with stats etc but now, its a way boring i find. But a good Gameplay, im exited to get her and have with fun with the sec, but i would say, Scharnhorst maybe a better choice because the Main skill looks like made for her 🤔.
