The coverage from 2006-2010 was the best WSOP coverage of all time.

What has TV poker become? The old WSOP broadcasts are 100x more entertaining than this. What happened to all the color segments? Player bios etc? Honestly as TV this is just sad compared to watching any old WSOP which Pokergo is currently uploading daily. Glad Norman and Lonn are still around though.

Norm and Lon, miss you guys. You were the glory days of televised poker.

The difference in the quality of the commentary here, compared to the free footage, is night & day. Nobody yelling at you to "smash that like button" every few seconds & threatening to cut the coverage short, if enough of us don't do what they say. No ridiculous questions for 'the chat' to answer & 'go wild' over & no continually waffling on about how many likes & subscribers they're getting. And, of course, no constant marketing & offers of 30% off the annual subscription, but of course, if you were watching this live, you've already paid them the money, so they can shut up about that. What a shame they've hidden this live coverage behind yet another sports paywall. Millions of poker fans unable to watch the biggest poker event of the year. Pokergo are just a mini-Sky in the making. Profit before people.

its a 40% chance of winning pre flop. It's a great pair to have. Can complete streets and royals.

Maria is my favorite of all poker commentators I think. Her understanding of the game is top notch, her way of explaining things is clear and understandable, and her voice and demeanor are so calm and gentle. YOU ROCK MARIA!!!

Just all the unknown luckboxes, can they stop being so emotional? Those luckboxes were so blessed already when they get to final table.

Maria with such a strong commentary. Love Lon's play by play and Norm had some funny one liners, but Maria was absolutely gold. Great insight for a beginner or seasoned vet watching. Can gain insight for all levels. A+

The Aces slam was epic!

At the end Jachtmann made several mistakes and was not patient enough. I guess one could feel that he is really not a Hold’em pro and coming more from Omaha. He was not familiar with Hold’em final table play. He was fearless and knew how to make pressure but…

@@marcuskwek3832 it initially seemed weird to me too... i'd guess the idea is that some straight draws or club draws could get there on the river or another 6 coming out too hits some 6s -- it's hard to put Jachtmann on a PURE club draw when the club came on the turn, but a small suited connector like 6/5 clubs or 4/5 or even just any 6 could be playing like Jachtmann was (he was button), and while Jachtmann could call the all in, it'd very probably be a bad price. whereas if he doesn't bet, and a 4 5 6 7 or a club does come on the river, it's tougher to call then on the river if there is a bluff then. i'm not saying he's right necessarily, i only watch poker casually, but that's my guess to the reasoning.

Man you guys... why don't you just get a big sponsor or run several ads instead of hiding this content behind a paywall? You guys would literally earn more money that way lol. You guys had 60k viewers yesterday at the start of the final table. You'd have in the 100+k range if you streamed it all

I've watched this entire wsop from day 1 and had him on my radar day 5. I do like Walton's game a little better just because it's a little spicier. Hutchison let me down big time though relative to his GPI rank. Played super passive.

Jachtmann totally collapsed when the floor manager came in and announced the sudden change of plans. It's really not cool to throw these changes at people last minute. He had already decrompessed and relaxed, then never got back into the same groove as before. It also made the last day quite crappy with two rather quick eliminations.

@@userac-xpg yes I agree, so if there were a ton of hands that had equity against Jones, it's a smart play to get them to fold out their equity. But, with that board, what hands are you worried about? What hands will fold to your jam that you are worried about? The flush is the obvious one, yet you block it. That of course doesn't mean he doesn't have it, just that it is less likely than otherwise. I'm assuming that must have been the hand he was worried about, as otherwise the play doesn't make much sense.

AK against JJ didn’t one even get a wiff that something was off nope just paid him off without a second thought later to go out with AJ against 10’s it does prove how valuable pairs are one in every 17 hands on average

Why are you guys arguing about the all in there from Jones. Not a bad play at all, clearly Jachtmann was representing a strong hand there, could easily have AK-AQ-AJ-KQ-KJ, putting it all-in there denying equity? All the Aces, Queens Jacks were still in the deck, and if one of the overcards came up that is not a King, he would be in trouble. He wouldn't be able to call anything if an Ace or a Queen shows up, and the pot was already big. He just wanted to grab the pot while he can, and know Jachtmann probably doesn't have a set or overpair.

nice to have the original commentators - but i wished norman could get more room to talk.. i was just hearing mrs. ho the whole time (it was still interesting but without the humor of my beloved norman chad) 😢😭😞
