R.I.P. Dan Miller and Bill Hall, two of WSMV's (and Nashville's) TV institutions
"Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales" is my favorite cartoon show.
The Tower V4 main theme(plays at 10:00) is also used by DanangTV (local TV station in Vietnam) as their news(Thời sự) theme.

I miss the graphics that WSMV had from 2013 to 2017, which were actually the NBC O&O graphics, even though WSMV was owned by the Meredith Corporation. Then again, CBS affiliates KCTV in Kansas City and WGCL in Atlanta were also owned by the Meredith Corporation but used CBS O&O graphics.
My favorite place in Nashville was the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Chicago's Carol Marin worked on the scene at 6?
4:44 to 7:19, WSMV (NBC) in Nashville used the same theme WATE (ABC) in Knoxville used from 2000 to 2011. It's ironic because since 1994, both Knoxville's WATE and Nashville's WKRN (also ABC) have both been owned by the same parent companies.WATE and WSMV are not only owned by different parent companies, but also they are not even the same network affiliates.

9:31 WSMV Channel 4 News, just like WPXI Channel 11 News in Pittsburgh; WPXI still uses this branding. WSMV is not using it anymore and their newscasts are branded as News 4.
Don't get me wrong, I love my hometown of Knoxville. But sometimes I wish that I had grown up in Nashville/Middle Tennessee, especially during the first 10 years of the 2000s.

Cox/Nexstar 2003 There is a new voice. He previously did voiceovers for WSMV, and that voice talent is Scott Chapin.
