Can I purchase a version without the dd12 trans? Does this come as a glider? Otherwise I really was one! A quick side note: will the 6900 ever see commercial road use? Or is oil fields and mamoett her home?

What's the difference between bonded and roped in when it comes to a windshield? Thanks

Mark Kennedy Bonded means glued and roped means fitted like you can see in the video.

Seen one of these today offloading next to me at a facility....lots of great features, but the mirror controls overhead? Put them on the arm rest!

Mirror controls overhead??? External temperature overhead??? USB port overhead??? I'd like to have a few words with the guy who made those decisions!!! That is absolute stupidity!! Yes, I do know just a bit about trucks - 52 years old / 30 plus years trucking.

I have been driving a 2016 5700xe since new and it is really unreliable , a/c has to be fixed twice every year, fuel injectors leak after 400,000km, DPF system problems constantly. My company has spent a small fortune to keep this truck on the road - the latest problem - the serpentine belts let go and took out the cooling fan -junk.

I love western star, But I would NOT buy one of these, I want it to look like a Western Star, not the Freightliner look..

We'll dayummm it's bad enough freightjunker turned a damn good truck into junk at least they can do is put the big red isx 485 Cummins in there rather then that junk DD15 smh
