Don’t forget to hang your horseshoe upwards to the sky. (U) that is so your luck will Not Run Out. If you turn it the other way (n) points looking down, it means luck running out. Love you both I’m 72 yrs old from California. You do have a beautiful country.
As you guys know. I made my first trip to Poland a few days ago. You 2 inspired me. I spent in Gdansk and Warsaw the Christmas Markets where totally Awesome. I do recommend it to everyone.
Always glad to watch this cheerful duo!
Glad your back.
It is beautiful. My parents were from Poland. They immigrated from to the States in 1945. My matka was a great cook. I know how to make pierogi, stuffed cabbage and her awesome sauerkraut. I want to learn more so I’ll be watching. 🇵🇱
A wonderful review of Wrocław. Chair-ished memories!☃️
thank you for sharing. I lived in Wroclaw before me and my parents immigrated to Canada. Last time i was in Poland was 43 years ago. This brought memories
Thank you for the beautiful tour. Coming out in May. My cousin will be our tour guide. Cheers!!!😊
Great tour of Xmas market, will definitely start making plans to visit. Mark you’re so funny, love you guys.
Thank you! ❤️
Thanks!
totally enjoyed this would come in a heart beat loved it all i miss mulled hot wine Merry christmas !
I love watching your videos! Anna, you're so good at explaining how to make a myriad of Polish food 😊 I'm an English woman, married to a Polish man for the last 12 years and as a result I have learned a fair amount about Polish food. Thank you ever so much for sharing your knowledge and skills 🤩
I made several trips to Poland for work over a 7-8-year period. During that time I made many friends and discovered the beauty of numerous cities including Wroclaw. I recall staying at Książ Castle where I enjoyed the history and fine dining. On a different note, I've just made your barszcz and it was "souperb". 🙂 Thank you!
A very Merry Christmas and all the best in 2024 to you and your family. Thank you for sharing this with us!
You two are a delight! I really enjoy watching you interact with each other as you travel the country. I like watching the cooking episodes but I have become a huge fan of kitchen's closed. I'm from the US and have been lucky enough to visit several different European countries over the years. Poland is one of my favorites. The people and cities are amazing, and you do a great service in the way you represent them. Your content is great and if your ever in central Pennsylvania, I'd love to show you around. Na Zdrowie!
I am retiring in 2 years, and my retirement present to myself is a trip to Poland to explore my roots. I CANNOT wait!
What a cool thing to do. Your host/author seems genuinely kindhearted. Thank you for taking us along.
My wife and I discovered your channel, only one and a half week ego. We do immensely enjoy your company, not only cooking lessons ;))), more so, because I grew up in Szczecin. We live near Sydney, Australia, so we are not spoiled as our American / Polish cousins, food outlets wise. We are congratulating you on your new house and wishing you the best endeavours in your online business. Cheers.
Zdrowych i Wesolych Swiat 😊
Thank you showing us viewers this magnificent city. We will try to visit it in a couple years time and if not I will recommend it to freinds in the Uk.
Headed to Poland in april for 2 months. Can't wait. This will be our third trip there. One more trip after this, we need to do the Christmas markets. Hope you are enjoying your new home and Merry Christmas to you and yours. Mitch & Diane
32:57 As a kid in the 1970s, here in England, I grew up knowing nothing about Poland. We had no products from Poland EXCEPT for small packets of Polish gingerbread that one supermarket sold. It seemed to be the only thing that came out of Poland (apart from cars later on), and it was quite delicious.
Thanks for taking us along
Thank you for showing us how the season is celebrated in Poland. I absolutely would love to visit my ancestral country. Especially now! Your videos are so informative but this one went the extra mile by placing me in a wonderful holiday spirit.
So kids, if you are dying of hypothermia, drink alcohol... why? Because then you won't care that you are dying of hypothermia. I am SOO glad that I found your channel. You two make me laugh every time I watch your videos. I wish you the best for the holiday season and the new year to come. BTW, I think you should post some pics of your new house. Mike from Mass.
I looked up Chleba and found a recipe for the Czech bread, a mix of rye and whet flour. It looks delicious.
💝👍💝
I love your videos so much! And I love your story as a married couple, so glad you all are happy in Poland..it's so beautiful there ❤️ my grandfather was Chicago raised Polish and I love seeing glimpses of the sights, culture and food.
Amazing and Beautiful Poland...you two have the most fun adventures...that was splendid! The closest thing to a Christmas Market atmosphere is probably the little German town of Frankenmuth here in Michigan. Merry Christmas to you both ❣
Love you two !!! Thanks for what you do. Great!
Thank you for the tour! Poland is so beautiful. Wesołych Świąt Bożego Narodzenia!
Awe💕💕 Wroclaw at Christmas!!
Great video. Looks like a lovely city, even in the snow. The Christmas Market was straight out of a fairly tale. Now to try and find mulled wine in Los Angeles! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Super, you are great guides through my old city. We love your videos. Marta & Alain from Montreal
The best winter vlog ever!
This question has nothing to do with this video, however I’m desperate to know the name of the Polish pottery site you’ve mentioned in earlier videos. I did order a beautiful tea pot, I collect and use them. This teapot that I ordered was called Irises. My daughter dropped something from the upper cabinet and broke My teapot. 😢😢😢I am trying to find it again. I hope you see this. Love your content and recipes. Thank you Carol
I enjoy your videos. Your presentation is good and fun. Also your divergence into other areas keeps it interesting. I was searching your previous videos for something on Polish Bread (old style, sourdough maybe), I could not find anything, did I miss it? Anyway if you are looking for a subject matter, something on bread would be interesting.
Mark, you should bring the "big chunk of bread" to the USA you will be a millionaire in 6 months. Mike from MASS.
Thank you for the tour, eating, shopping and drinking!💗. Did you keep the mug? I love the scenery, your smiles and laughter are wonderful 💞 Happy Holidays ❄️.

Ged, all the best in your decision and wish you and Nina happiness living in Poland. 🙏🏻😍
Great tour! Beautiful and you two are so fun as usual! I sure jumped when that snow hit the car - I had earbuds in and jumped and scared my husband 😆. I’m hoping to get there for the market in 2024 ✌️
Love your video!

And oh how much I miss the food 😢 wish we had Christmas markets more like this all over the US vs only in a few big towns.
Found Gluweiss here in Dallas a few years ago… love it on colder winter nights even here in Texas…. Usually cut it with a little cranberry or orange juice so I can have more with less Buzzzzz…. Warm mine in the microwave Great video! Love Hummus Btw

Mark musial byc bardzo grzeczny przez caly rok,ze nie zostal przywiazany do Pregieza przed Ratuszem i nie dostal chlosty;)
I don't think having a hangover is a 'good time' necessarily. Or encouraging that much drinking is not a great idea. I love your cooking shows and seeing you travel your country. Merry Christmas to you and your family and remember that Jesus is the reason for the season! 🇨🇦
Greetings, Why could you not read the story of the chair?
Will we see your new house soon?
You didn’t show the cakes or pastries you bought. Something looked really good in one of those plates.
Can the smalec, pickle sandwiches be found in places other than the Christmas markets? Is there a name for them?

Mark, how hard is it to learn the Polish language?
@markhurning8051
7 ай бұрын
Its a very difficult language for sure. It takes a lot of dedication to actually learn it as opposed to just memorizing a few sentences. I’m way too lazy to properly learn it, so I muddle through 🤪
Do a lot of people speak English in 🇵🇱 Poland?

Many people under the age of 40-50 have some English. I’ve never had a problem getting around. Thanks for watching!
