@@jdaltair it actually is scripted. They’ve admitted this in a couple of interviews, look it up. It takes them a bunch of tries to get the deliveries right and the laughs to sound genuine.

Love how the boys get increasingly frustrated as their Sonic story keeps gets railroaded by the AI, who has planned out a sensible story.

Hearing an Eddsworld reference an entire decade later warms my heart as much as the acid blood warms Hatler’s.

The boys are back in town with this hip, new-age classic about some boys in a sewer writing their manifestos.

They throw these scripts at the crying Chinese factory workers to animate, the smiling friends characters are based off various stains on the filthy scripts cusack and Zach make, pim and Charlie are based off a half eaten banana and tomar’s missing glass eye that Zach stole

The text adventure is still experimental. You should try storyteller. You don't need to select do and say, just directly say stuff, and you also get better answers and coherence.

For future reference, the "text adventure" section of NovelAI was basically only added as a dunk on AI Dungeon, it's not very good. Even though it might take a little more "work", using the regular mode to write a story like you would normally is the section of the site that gets much more love and would really blow you away if you used it right. Good episode though, they just wanna make the AI say the funny words and text adventure mode is good enough for that at least.

@@twindrill2852 Fun fact: they seemed to have added that label (as well have shrunk the button to not be equally as large as the Storyteller one) in response after both Vinny amd Jerma streamed it and used Text Adventure because they were already used to AI Dungeon and got not-so-great results. Especially Vinny seemed pretty miffed on it since he was just doing the free trial and didn't experiment with it as much as he maybe should have.

@@barstoolblethins8428 AI dungeon used to be completely free but now it has paid subscriptions. To use it for free you can only use it for a limited time per day. I’m also pretty sure that the free ai dungeon has been worsened and that the paid ai is just the standard version

@@barstoolblethins8428 OpenAI, who actually owns the hardware that runs GPT-3 and sells access to it, decided to actually enforce their TOS for AI Dungeon. AI Dungeon was initially their largest customer, but that didn't last very long. So AI Dungeon had to filter input until they could make their own more-advanced model to replace access to the GPT-3 version. It's up to interpretation how it performs against NovelAI now. Neither of them possess the sheer breadth of pop culture knowledge that GPT-3 did. It runs on the most advanced GPU arrays nvidia has to offer, with hundreds of gigabytes of memory. The hardware costs over $100k per unit to run one instance of full-fat GPT-3.

@@barstoolblethins8428 they lost their OpenAI partnership, so no more GPT-3. They replaced it with a way shittier model, and didn't make it clear that they had done so. The model is still named Dragon despite it not being at all the same. Also I highly recommend playing around with OpenAI playground. It's fascinating just how capable it is. Apparently GPT-4 is gonna have roughly 100 trillion parameters, which is like 500x the parameters in GPT-3, so it's gonna get seriously impressive in the next couple years.

@desfougerescorentin2503 yeah, because that wasn't steering the story, it was a detail that the AI decided was a standalone statement. All it would've taken was an extra sentence in the story input, explicitly saying a character reacts to that. It's super easy to steer this stuff.

I just want a whole episode of Zach screaming and reenacting people begging for their lives.

2 years of ai adventures, and they still can’t figure out how to properly switch between do, say, and story, and they can’t adjust to the second person perspective. Never change.

Hearing all four of the boys in one video is always a blessing.

The AI is better when you use story teller mode instead of the Text adventure mode. I know no one will see this because it will get buried in a bunch of comments, but I want to see more and to get the best content, storyteller mode is the way to go.

This is one of the funniest Oneyplays videos I’ve seen in a while! Some of these lines had me belly laughing. Pleeeease do more of these!
