Writing Piecewise Functions with Unit Step Functions
Before you can easily perform a Laplace transform on piecewise functions, it’s really helpful to be able to rewrite them with unit step functions. This video does a quick review of unit step functions and then walks through two different ways to think about it to get the same answer.

Thank u so much my my lecturer took only 5 mins to explain this :( thx a ton!!!
this is the best lecture on unit step I've seen so far!
Great! Video is even useful for college-level classes. Keep it up!
Thank you for the crystal clear explanation!

could you find an answer to your question? I am stuck on the same thing.
everyone be like "there's a girl that likes math, I have to make my comment awkward"
I was solving few questions and found out that U(t)=1??? why is that
don't understand how you're shifting it by two. you're not shifting it by two right or left, you're inversing it and then shifting it by two so i'm super confused...
Who are you and where have you been all my semester?
