Writing B Sections | You Suck at Producing #54
Writing B sections is hard. To prevent another Derek from joining the family, sometimes we have to use plan B. In today’s lesson, we’re gonna learn how to make plan B, or B Sections as they’re sometimes called, that work with our original idea. Let’s get started.

After watching all of the mixing tutorials I have finally accomplished what I came for. To be broken down to zero self esteem and denounce sex as a sin and become pure. Thank you underbelly.

In fact you can use relative major (or minor) or parallel (with the same tonic) or whatever you wish if it sounds good to your ear (learn modulations). You can approach any set of chords through one or couple of pivotal chords (shared by different tonalities), also you can temporarily borrow chords for your B from other tonalities or scales but doing this watch out carefully not to shit your pants, as this is quite common case for beginners.
love the sus notes and 7ths you effortlessly played in with the basic chords aka 'flair'. I wish I could play keys properly

I use these funny looking things on the sides of my head that funnel air into little holes - they allow me to compare relative frequencies. if yours don't or you don't have any holes on the side of your head you may want to go to a doctor and get that looked at. don't attempt to make your own head-holes. blessings
I gotta say, at first I didn't like the monotone underbelly but I've now found myself on about video 27 and this is now my favorite channel to watch

That was sick

I was thinking exactly the same thing for the C section
Hi ! Thanks for this video. Here's what I've understood : - Why is the "root" of the E minor an A ? > by root he means “the root key of the progression” (not the chord) - Where can I find information about the 3 half semitones rules. And why does it start from A, because all articles I’ve read on tonality change start from the minor third ? Thanks for your answers

Can you recommend a keyboard for a beginner? Best mix of value and functionality with Daws for someone starting out
Can this be done on any minor scale? And do we count the half steps in the scale or chronologically? I cant afford another baby
@Secritchy
5 жыл бұрын
Yes it can by done like this with any minor scale. Also you count half steps. Just look up the circle of fifths that shows which keys are harmonic with each other.
@kalebrand

Another way to think about relative scales: The relative minor has the same keys but starts on the 6th note in the relative major.
What plugin do you use for your EPiano

so basically you changed the key from section a and b in a musically correct way? Please reply my brother I need conformation! Thank you so much your videos always help.
@JEPeters00

Didn't change key. Went from a minor (Am) to it's relative major a 3rd up (CMaj). Works the other way around, too. When playing in a major key, the relative minor is the 6th.
