Thank you for sharing these! Still undecided whether to try these have plenty of brush pens that fit my needs. Like the wide variety of bright colours! Wish the small set included a black brush pen in addition to the grey. Calming voiceover. Your handwriting and calligraphy are beautiful 😍

Omg!! Thank u so much for this!!! That was really fast too from the time I asked u to review them!! Ur great!! And guess what?! I purchased ur book last weekend from Amazon. It’s beautiful!!! The one thing I noticed about the writech pens that made me hesitant to buy them is that they look ALOT like the small sign brush pens that I’m seeing all over AliExpress and other Chinese shopping websites. Not that all products found on these sites are bad… it’s just there are pens out there that look exactly the same as them, so it made me feel like they are the same. Do u know if they are?? I guess it doesn’t matter, if the pens themself perform well. If they make lettering easier and u love lettering with them that’s all that matters. So thank u so much for this review!!!

I’m glad this review was helpful!! And I’m so glad you like my book!!! I don’t know if they’re the same as other generic brands you’ve been seeing. Could be. They are good pens. But that is one reason I’m probably going to stick with recommending Pentel first because they’re a longstanding, good quality pen!

I have the vintage pack of these writech. I like them for all the reasons you mentioned but I still prefer my pentels sign and touch and my tombows as well. Or maybe I should try the writech bright colors.. the vintage ones as cool but the colors don’t fascinate me enough

Yeah the color makes a big difference. And I think sometimes we choose to buy colors that look pretty but then we aren’t drawn to them as much when we’re actually creating you know?

@@EnsignInsights exactly, I thought I was a vintage and pastel girl … I’ve come to find out that the more I letter and color, the more a like bright and vivid colors 😍 especially the bright dark colors(if that’s a thing). I love my tombows bohemian, landscape and galaxy markers, they are so exciting to look at. And I have ecoline’s violet palette on my cart now.. ohhh and the glittery ones, can’t wait to buy pentels dual metallic brush pens 😍

Thanks for this video! My second set of Writech pens came just this morning 💛 Pentel Touch Sign Brush Pens actually come in 36 colors now! There was a 6-pack bundle released in 2023 (coral orange, pale orange, lime green, emerald green, light violet, dark brown), available on Jet Pens and Stationery Pal and 2024 fluorescent colors (green, yellow, red, pink, orange, blue), available individually on Stationery Pal. Maybe you could do a video using the new colors! I think I learned about Pentel Brush Pens first from you when I was starting my lettering journey in Fall 2022 ☺I like them more than the Tombow Fudes!

Are these “new colors” that ur referring to the fluorescent colors? Everyone seems to be making fluorescent colors but for me, for what I use them for (lettering) I’m not fond of the fluorescent as it tends to be hard to read. I’ll be slightly disappointed if the new color line up is fluorescent… guess I’ll be waiting until next year to purchase more sign brushes. 😢

@@linahan5422 The 2023 pack are more pastel/mild colors. They are beautiful! The 2024 pack are definitely fluorescent.

Do the Writech bleed? I know papers differ greatly but curious whether a normal notebook or heavier paper weight, thanks for the video

I tried it on thin notebook paper and no they don’t bleed. I think it’s very similar to Pentel with the amount of juiciness!
