WRIST PAIN & Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - Everything you need to know about diagnosis and treatment

People who suffer from wrist pain and carpal tunnel syndrome may complain of night pain, tingling, numbness, and weakness. Once a doctor has made a diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome she or he may recommend splints, anti-inflammatories, exercises or a cortisone injection. Tests might be ordered to check the median nerve as it may be compressed in the wrist. Occasionally surgery may be required for carpal tunnel syndrome.
