That was a belt that Mabel had made, not a real title.

The Intercontinental Championship pictured looks a hell of a lot better than the current title.

The Hogan belt was 1986 not 1996

I believe both stories about the rocks title are true. It got lost in the mail and that delay gave Vince time and he decided to not use it.

They also had a King Of The Ring title.

That was a belt that Mabel had made for himself the year he won KOTR, it was never bought by wwf just a one off for Mabel’s own collection.

A custom belt not used was the Andre the Giant WWF title belt made to fit Andre. It was made prior to Wrestlemania III but obviously never used.

Usage of the Hogan ‘86 Belt was discontinued because Hogan complained the top half it would constantly dig into his abdomen when he wore it. So they reverted back to the previous design and no one was the wiser.

That unused intercontinental championship needs a run back I think it looks cool just needs some edits and it’ll be perfect.

The shape of it reminded me of the Hogan mystery belt. I like it but something was missing in the middle

I loved this video and I would love to see a second part because I always fell in love with the mystery of unused belts

The WWF also made a custom belt for the Undertaker at the same time as the Austin/Rock designs.

Ric used that tag inspired belt between the Crumrine and WWF titles for awhile.

The NWA World Heavyweight Title was used it several house shows in 1985-86 before they went with the one used till WCW ended

Have you seen the King of the Ring title? When Mable won, they were apparently going to use the belt, either instead of or with the crown

That TNA mid-card title was also known as the Global Title when Eric Young had it during World Elite stable. Than AJ won it and it became TV title.

I’d say the picture belt of Hogan would’ve worked better on Piper had he won the belt.

I had a chance to see the Rock's unused Brahma Bull championship belt on display during a Summerslam fan event before one of the LA shows, sometime in the early-2010s. It's honestly a beautiful title, I just think they could've done without the lightning accents on the face plate. The red in the eyes and the blowing smoke worked perfectly.

That TNA Legends belt went through hell. The strap was a bright red to start by the end it was a dirty burgundy color

Fun fact: WWF at the time made 2 Brahma bull belts, one has either the rock or wwe and the other, I know him, sick belt collector!

There was a moment years back when the draft ended and Raw at the time had both Champions on their show, the Smackdown decided to make their own Heavyweight Champion. I remember that they were about to reveal it then all of a sudden the current Heavyweight Champion switched to be on Smackdown. I believe they were naming it something like The Smackdown Heavyweight Champion.

There was a huge heavyweight title belt designed specifically for Andre the Giant, if he decided not to lose at Wrestlemania III (he was so big and strong that if he decided he didn't want to lose, there was nothing anyone could do anything about it). Of course, it wasn't needed.

The Hogan pic belt was most definitely on tv. Ive seen it on the network and the pic of him wearing it is a tv match.

7:35 you’re absolutely right, it does lack the filler that would make it whole but I love this design. I could go either way with the giant WWE logo that they love. I hate calling certain years in wrestling an “era” but this has to be from the infancy of the Ruthless Aggression era due to the logo. It’s the old scratch WWF logo which they kept for a bit after they changed to the WWE. Which to be honest I wish they would’ve never changed their name and kept it WWF. A lot of people don’t know that lawsuit was just for the UK. They only had to go by something else there but instead they decided to rebrand the whole company. They should’ve kept the WWF name, it was a much cooler abbreviation in my book.

I'm mad as hell TNA actually had that beautiful world television championship belt and they never used it in TNA didn't have an international championship but they did have a a global championship which was essentially the same belt that was used for the Legends championship and the TV titles people would have taken that TV title more seriously if they had used a different title instead of repurposing the Legends championship

I've never understood what Spartan helmets have to do with tag team wrestling.

Hogans mystery belt was from the late 80s

The Hogan '86 title also has a wrong italian flag... it's red, white and green instead of green, white, red.

Not quite right about the big gold. Jim Crockett was the backer of getting that belt made and he is the one who vetoed having it say NWA, as many assumed he saw JCP leaving the NWA at some point. The NWA board was not involved with getting the belt made.

The real worlds champion belt was before the tag belt

Big missed opportunity not to used the Zack Ryder Internet championship.

Honorable mention should go to Andre the Giant The WWE was planning on debuting a new title at the main event Show featuring The Night Andre beat Hulk Hogan. The winged Eagle Title made its debut that night. In fact earlier on in the night Hogan can be seen in the promo packages and interviews with the old title. But came out with the new winged Eagle Title It was slated that they were going to have a custom title for Andre that would better fit him then the new winged eagle title. If you look back at that match and you see Andre with the new title on his shoulder it looks like a toy belt. So this new title was made and was supposed to be awarded to Andre. There are photos of the title around the internet and there is a TV spot where the title is in the foreground sitting on a table in front of a panel who are talking. I believe it may have been the lead up to the main event show but the title never made it to TV or to Andre

I loved those un used world title belts from the beginning of the video and personally I hate that Rock Brahma Bull Belt I think it's ugly

The Global Force title couldn't be a NXT knock off because GFW came and went WAY WAY WAY before NXT. So the WWE / NXT stole the idea from GFW.
