    I died, but i actually programmed my 3d-modeled niko to put my consciousness into a computer. So while i'm 3d printing wren, i actually want to make a fully cg movie, but how do you make convincing looking cg humans? Well, you don't have to, because cinema9d has this amazing library of human-looking characters _______________________ | Sponsored segment | | 1:27 | ------------------------------------- So let me tell you about our sponsor, raid: vpn. If you don't know what a vpn is, it protects you from da govamint and we know, da govamint are bad people so if you use code: fuckdagovamint you can get 30% off it's initial price and one month free trial Yeah so my head is ready for use so niko, plug me in.. wooow, holy crap! This is so cool. I never thought that it will be this cool. Look at my mouth nganganganga There is a big disadvantage though, What? You can't pop your bones *cut to black* So while wren is trying out his new head, i'm over here hand-animating the characters, now how do you convincingly animate a human? You don't, there is this mocap library of people doing things like, kung fu moves and normal everyday stuff so i'm gonna get back to you about that. *black again* I-I can't pop my bones Yeah i'm sorry about that Well don't do this anymore just kill me Wren, we've gone too far on this Ok fine just 3d print the rest SO, i've mix mash everything so what now? Effects, effects effects effects, we need them. Luckily we have a library of talented 3d artist on fiverr. So i'm gonna send this to them and check back in a week WOAH!! This is nice, i'm human again! Well not exactly but hey! Yeah, i'm gonna check on carmichael and see what he got CARMICHAEL! Yeah You done? Hell yeah That is neat alright we've probably released a trailer for this new movie right now, it's on youtube yellow. The best place for youtube movies and fortnite funnies. Though technically it could still be considered a "footpath". Combining forms of transportation that are all expected to share the same paths is what is cause for accident. Sure cycle-pedestrian accidents are probably safer than car-cycle accidents and probably less frequent, I'd argue that a one wheel-pedestrian accident would be safer than cycle-pedestrian accidents.

    The issue was them riding on the sidewalk. Wheeled travel such as bicycles and possibly onewheels are meant for the road not the sidewalk. The guy was pissed that he had to move out of their way, but really it's not that hard to sidestep oncoming traffic. I don't think any laws have actually been made concerning Onewheels since they are so new. but here's the CA laws about bikes: www.calbike.org/bicycling_in_california_sharing_the_road

    @JetpackYoshi6 жыл бұрын

    Hey Wren! I already posted this in the subreddit, but I thought I should probably drop it here as well. TL;DR, stop using that mod ASAP. The idea's really great, but unfortunately the way you did it is very dangerous, and will probably destroy not only the battery, but also the electronics if you use it more than a few times. You mentioned in the video that the reason why the one-wheel shuts off is so that it doesn't turn on while it's plugged into a wall. While this is true, the bigger reason is that standard LFP charging circuits (as well as most bare-bones charging circuits) don't support it. The reason behind this is simple: you cannot charge and discharge a battery simultaneously. "BUT WAIT!" I hear you say. "Listen here, baka JetpackYoshi, What about cell phones and laptops? They do just that! BACK TO THE CAVE WITH YOU." Those might appear to be simultaneously charging and discharging, but they're actually getting by with a clever trick called load-sharing. Basically, the load (in your case, the actual motors of the one-wheel) draw all the power that it needs from the source (in this case, the external power) and the remainder goes to charging the battery. If the one-wheel demands more power than the external source can provide, it also draws power from the internal battery. This is why you sometimes see your phone's battery go down while it's plugged into a cheap battery pack or a socket with a low max-current. You probably get it by now. But to everyone else here in the comments, here's a good way to think about it: Imagine that you live on your own while working a steady full-time job earning a fair monthly wage. Think of that paycheck as your external source. Now, whenever you get that money, some of it goes to your daily expenses (rent, food, entertainment, etc.) and the rest gets saved. Think of those daily expenses, your life, as the load (oof) and those savings as a battery. As long as you earn more than you spend, that battery slowly gets charged. But, imagine one day, you were fooling around with *dem hawt young thangs* and surprise! You now have a kid. All of a sudden, you're spending more than you earn, and you have to use both the money you're earning AND some of your savings to stay afloat. Moral of the story: in both circuitry and life, use protection. Now, you're using a solar panel charger which probably has one of these circuits in it, which is likely why you decided to use it, BUT, in this situation it won't work, because the load-balancing needs to happen between the load (the thing drawing the power) and it's own internal battery. The good news is that load-sharing battery charger circuits are pretty common, and really simple to use! You can also build your own very easily using mosfets. You might be able to add it between your board's battery and the rest of the electronics, depending on the design. Unless of course this has all been done already....in which case, back into the cave for me. Hope this was helpful. Keep doing cool shit, and keep being awesome!

    But what exactly is the harm of using this? I mean, how does charging and using the energy at the same time can cause any issues?

  • @xureality

    @xureality

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@TiagoTiagoT because you aren't using the energy from the battery, you're using the energy from the battery charging and balancing circuit inside the onewheel. Lithium Ion/Polymer batteries are very particular about how they're charged and if you're out of spec they're very liable to blow up for no reason. So a poorly designed charger might see the voltage go down (due to motors sucking the current) and try to up the voltage on the line, which also ups the voltage to the battery and cause lithium fires. Of course that won't happen with a well designed power controller, which it most likely is because wren mentions regenerative braking, which has the exact same set of problems with external charging, is available on the onewheel.

  • @DeathBringer769

    If you pick it up and anyone sees you, they're instantly going to assume it's yours now and that you left it there to begin with as well, so that's the bitch about it too. I've dragged a dead deer carcass off to the side of the road before because it was blocking a good portion of the lane (someone else had hit and killed it earlier.) I didn't "clean up the body" and take it fully away though since I wasn't prepared for something like that. I just did the most I could in the situation with a pair of gloves and trying to not get a disease from a deer corpse, lol. I still think it was a good move since it was potentially dangerous in its present location (people going into the oncoming lane to avoid the carcass on a blind turn, potential accidents, etc.)

    hall monitor is just calling that guy the type of kid who would be like an annoying hall monitor at school. Like even if what wren was doing was illegal, it was harmless and fun but some people just like to feel better than others by being super anal about rules and stuff. Like hall monitors were usually kids who were just upset that they couldnt have fun with the other kids so they abused their power to feel superior.
