NOTHING TO SEE HERE! I'm talking visibility. This is a 5-lap Figure of 8 race on dirt, repeated with four camera angles. The first two are from opposite ends of the track, the third focuses on the intersection, and the fourth is… well, my view. My practice run used the preferred chase view and visibility was bad enough, so I took the challenge of going to into the cockpit for the race. It was a bit manic but I got lucky - there were very few pile-ups on the cross, and I fluked an amazing miss on lap 3. Mind you, as you’ll see on the third part of the video there were quite a few equally amazing squeezes for the AI too.
It was quite a buzz racing like that, but in all honesty I’ll probably stick to chase view in future.
