Hi love your "Home Depot" stump, I have a few questions about it. What hardwood is it? How thick are the boards, 1", 2"?. What is the overall size of the box? Is it glued and screwed together? Do you have any plans or templates for cutting the boards on a bandsaw? Why so low? Wouldn't it be better if it was higher so you don't have to bend over as much? Thanks.

The templates for plywood bucks available for sale on sights like Etsey are a very great and affordable way to start metal shaping

The stump shrinking starts with a panel that already has some shape in it. How do you start the shrinking when you have a large, flat panel?

johngslaterThere is no difference. You can start with a flat, or shaped, panel. Tucks, or puckers, will be made either way.

Does Ray have any plans on brining out an instruction dvd? I'd love to attend one of his classes but I'm in Europe :(

William Longyard I've had a look at it and all I could find was " Dent Repair and the Shrinking Disc video" but I believe that one is only about taking out dents and use of the shrinking disc right?
