    Wraps definitely teach you to address your weaknesses like your upper and lower back. So true, if you can’t hold the weight, gravity definitely will take over!

    I started wrapping due to a knee cap injury. The IT band tightened up after the impact, and wouldn’t release; it threw the tracking of the cap off. Physiotherapy wasn’t working because that band is difficult to stretch out; I figured out, if I can stabilize the cap, the IT band would stretch out at the bottom of the squat. I wrap my knees inwards and within a couple of workouts, I was on my way to recovery. I wrap all the time- once I get over a certain weight. I’m almost 54 and train hard and heavy. When I began wrapping, I noticed immediately, I could lift more weight safely as well.

    Hit 210kgs in sleeves last Saturday. Might go for my lifetime goal of 224kgs in wraps today. In pounds that's 465lbs and 495lbs I weigh 92kgs

    Love all the uploads and I got squats today after not doing lower bar for about 6 weeks so I'm excited to test all your squat tips out. Bit off topic but I would love to see a video about how to improve sleep if possible. I've recently put on about 20kg and noticed my sleep quality degrading a bit, specifically when I sleep on my back/side I get shoulder pain and lose feeling in my hands even though I have amazing shoulder mobility. I've tried different mattresses/pillows and nothing helps. Curious if you got any tips to help me live a better quality life as a bigger person. All the best.

    Great vid.I've only had knee wraps for a few months and can see a positive difference.Agreed.The more you practice it the better. My left knee also hasnt been as sore as it had been when i didnt have the wraps. My knee wraps are 2 meters long.I think the one time i made them too tight as my left foot was sore.When i was a teenager i had back surgery on the L4- and L5 disks so regular squats i couldnt do due to the compression.Since ive had my SSB Bar which is basically my main squat i've got up to 515lbs in over 2 years.The position is more upright and so the quad activation has been insane.I've never seen my side leg this thick and juicy.I've also read that since its more upright theres less hips working which makes the numbers a bit less than a regular squat.

    I’d say they weren’t too tight, maybe too tight for the current experience level you had which is fine, just back it off a little. Also be careful the wraps aren’t too low on the back of the calf that could cause a little grief but keep in mind a tight wrap isn’t meant to be a pleasant experience 🤝🏼

    Whats your take on dive bomb squats? When you talked about rebound with wraps i immediately thought of that technique. Do you have to give up tension in your lower body to perform it? (that would go against your squat tutorial so idk whats your take on it)

    Divebombing sucks, driving down into the wrap is great. Divebombing would suggest there is almost no control or brace being held. Move with intent

    I’m a novice, 11 months into training and competing for the time next week. I’ve already locked in another comp for October. Hypothetically, if I walk away from this first comp with 140 / 90 / 160, is it a realistic goal for me to aim for 180 / 120 / 200 in October or is that too much of a push?

    It would be a stretch for most, not for some. Really depends on many factors, my advice, don’t rush, don’t get attached to a number especially this early on. Focus on the process. Get stronger each competition 🤝🏼

    Thank you. Makes sense. I’ll push hard and treat every new PR as a victory. I’ll keep those numbers as goals in the back of my mind but let them unfold when ready rather than trying to force them by a certain date. Loving the channel and the Patreon.     Do you plan on marketing on knee sleeves I have a problem finding knee sleeves that fit as I compete in USA powerlifting and there classes is raw I can only use sleeves in this one and raw with wraps and equipped and I would like to have records in all 3 classes
