This sign on is terrific ! It says " Good Morning " to you when you wake up. Not like the shit we have today. If you fall asleep with the television on most likely you will be awoke to HELP, I'VE FALLEN AND I CAN'T GET UP " or some stupid commercial for a lawyer wanting to sue for you or some stupid car insurance. I sure miss the plain and simple days.

One of my all-time favorite sign-ons as this is one of the few I can remember from the glorious '80s when we got Channel 11 on cable in Southeast PA. This sign-on had a sense of calm that presaged the more frantic programming that would come on later.

If you were to take a trip from Philly or anywhere to NYC via Greyound, this is the kind of music you'd hear while walking through the Port Authority bus terminal.

I thought it was rather interesting if I were to get up early enough and see the sign-on happen, especially if I were to see some cartoons before getting ready for school. I wish I wouldn't be too tired to do that more often. :-/ For those who may want to know what the music is: Mercury from "The Planets" by Gustav Holst.
