I think the vanguard is criminally underrated. It's awesome against cruisers and can delete destroyers easily, so for doing the roles of your teammates, who are 99% likely to do absolute shit all, its really good

I got vanguard a few months ago and i would say it has very good artillery performance but its firing angles suck a lot and gets you citadeled a lot of the time

The vanguard separates the good battleship players (ones who know how to move, angle, kite, switch shells etc) from the battleship players who just bow tank and mouth breath. You know the battleship players who mainly just use iowa, massa/bama, richelieu/JB, yama and musashi.

I like this style of video, even though we are polar opposites on our ship preferences. I don’t disagree with you too much overall. I definitely rank some differently but they are truly opinion based on play style.

call me offended but every time i play the Rupprecht the secondaries goes nuts on everything and racks up damage like nothing i've ever seen before in the game. Those secondaries aline are enough to melt any destroyer and light cruiser in the game in seconds even without the enhanced secondary consumable. Very satisfying to see, only negative to the ship is the glass cannon-ish style where you can dish out alot of dmg but also get full health dev struck the moment you make a single mistake, limited dmg cons is something one gets used to while grinding the soviets bb line.

Émile Bert-in LOL! A cool read about him on Wikipedia, helped the Japanese modernize their fleet. I have most ships at tier V and looking to go farther. Thank you for your insight!

Secondary line on the German battleships I only use to push forward and do close quarters . I find their range isn’t great but accuracy/dispersion is pretty cool

I good vid. Even agree on a lot of the content. I collect the British line, the lightning is awesome although I agree on the tiger 59 I play the ship like the Friesland. Full stealth either with a DD commander or Jericho., like the challenge but with a concealment comparable to the radar range, capture and DD elimination is my goal. Don’t recommend it though but it is fun.

The difference btwn the 2 German premium t6 DDs is gun caliber one has the 150s the other the 128s. Soo just personal preference.

I started running up the USA BB line and then switched to French BB’s Courbet and Bretagne are simply better than New York and New Mexico in terms of game play enjoyment. Cannot wait to get Normandie

I picked up a lot of the premium ships on sale during Christmas time for 1500 or 2500 dubloons. Just wait and get them at the end of the year

I actually love the champagne. Ive had amazing games in it almost everytime.

As a 2 year wowsl player, ive made the mistake to grind just one tech tree, what ive should have done is play every tech tree, to t4/t5 to discover witch tech tree is more enjoyable for me to play. So i e played at first only pan europe. But since 8 months ive tryed other tech trees, and found that i enjoy the german cruisers, the british bb, and the Japanese dd more. But i recommend to try atleast play every tech tree and discover the pro,s and cons of all of them and youll discover wich tech tree is best for you, and gdt the hang of the different types and trees

Good stuff Peak, I agree with a lot of what your saying. I hate Italian CL, British George I’ve got to force myself to play it and it’s a game or two here or there. German CL Nurnberg is a kitting ship snd don’t like to play, BB I don’t like cause of dispersion, DD is fun but slow n clunky. Like Japan DD, CL snd BB Dispersion trolls the hell out of you. American is pretty solid in all lines. But you’ve got to play a line in the roll there meant too play in. Think I’m gonna snatch Suzya since Bama will be around for next GXP who knows how long Suzya will be. Since I took a little time off and missed it and a couple other ships. After my mom passed away

I use my legendary class ships to earn gxp 😊🎉❤ye haw Alaska and Montana both with epic legendary mods 😂

As a cv player i feel the need to correct you on how you described the IJN and British cvs, Hosho and Ryujo are really strong at their respective tiers with Hosho in particular being the best t3 cv imo and Implacable is a worse Furious at a higher tier and I'm not joking about that. And Shokaku with it's recent buffs is fairly strong too but the plane restoration is nowhere near as good as you claimed it to be.

I agree with most of Peeks choices, but I know alot of his choices are due to his play style. I dont like it personally, but some people really like being red line burners, even if It doesn't have the greatest impact on the match (imo), but some people definitely get some sort of pyro satisfaction out of it. My brother is a fire-starting super fan, and a secondaries fan, and he loves it, all the way to the bottom of the ocean where he belongs. J/K. Even tho ze German cruiser line is ok, he avoids it like the plague simply because they are spark-less. I enjoy killing destroyers, so sonar and radar cruisers are my thing, so I love the German cruiser line, even tho I know they aren't that competitive against the meta, and have God awful firing angles.

Idk Japans BBs I do fairly well with I can get some fairly good hits and Dev strike Cruisers all the time with the Nagato

Mate Leander and Fiji are some of the best / per their tier. Also be careful talking about carriers if you haven't played them extensively. They take a lot of experience and hard work to play effectively ...

The Leander is awesome, it’s better than the Ed-in-bur-ah that’s how it’s said even though it’s a gd ship. I’m from uk and our bbs except conquerer are mediocre. Whereas the US nearly every ship is awesome. Come on the Bayern is a good ship, when I was grinding it I got a fair few krakens.

Bayern is excellent. I like the new German battlecruisers too, they're close assault , agile menace's which also terrify DDS and cruisers.

I prefer BBS but the tank BBS are far from meta. Meta at this point in time seems to be the wall of skill, fire spammers and sky clowns. Great video though 👍 Sometimes it's a 10, sometimes it's a 3 😂🤣💪

Vangaurd, Leander, Fiji, Bayern, German secondary builds are all monsterous if used correctly.. maybe it’s this guys play style but you have to use different ships to their advantages not all the same style and I think that’s where ships get bad reps because people don’t or can’t use them properly! That being said I like this video and I think it helps a lot of the newer players, just please read and look into what the ships good at and use that to your advantage in situations where it can be used and avoid exposing its weaknesses where possible! Also c’mon man how you gonna say West Virginia is bad, breaks my heart I’m a German BB main but I love the WV’s accuracy I’ve got more devstrikes in that ship alone than my most used German BB 🤣

Wow... i thought you CCs had everything unlocked with the amount you play, turns out im on par with tech tree (no wonder i have zero credits!), would have been good to just have a list of recomended GXP / premium ships rather than go through one by one though

Secondaries will eat DDs. The tirpitz is a great ship to secondary build with.

German DDs get hydro/sonar with Gaede. Amagi is quite a good ship at this moment. Delny was a very good ship but its gonna fall into oblivion after nerf. Cause we can't have very good tech tree ships. Tallin is THE best cruiser in tier VI. Even after nerf.

As a Connoisseur is German ships, I can give a couple opinions, after maining them since 2019. German DDs are the natural predator of Japanese DDs. If you wanna bully a Shimakaze, and don't wanna wait to unlock Khabarvosk, Grab Z46 and show an who's boss. Overall mid tier DD due to weak damage Torps, but those guns are not to be slept on. German Cruisers are a bit funky. The first 5 tiers are all light cruisers. In tiers 1 to 5, broadside to ANY ship is a death sentence. In 6,7, and 8, you get Heavy Cruisers, which can actually survive a hit. Hipper is VERY good, and can chunk ships with AP just as good as a Baltimore. Same as Roon. For Battlecruisers, they are like Japanese Battleships with Russian damage control. Overall good ships, though low tier can be a bit unforgiving. And high tier can be incredibly good. German Battleships, we all know the story. HILARIOUSLY good ships, but meant for players with a brain. If you are a Battleship main, and you don't throw your ship away, the Germans have some of the Best Battleships in the game. Bismarck is practically unmatched. As for the carriers, they have really disappeared. But, German carriers are INCREDIBLY good. The ability to deal heavy damage to basically any ship type is unbelievable, and very good. Just don't let Cruisers get too close.

yeah i think he finds it bad because the ijn bbs have a raised citadel so if you're that guy who shows his broadside all the time and doesnt care about angling i cen see why you would hate them.

play the ship that is fun. you can watch tons of "pro" videos....the take away: Opinions vary...."the best" is who ever you choose to believe, "used to be good"...keep that in mind."expecially"

The only deep water torp dd i played that works is Anshan because it has great guns to take out other dd's and it can ofcourse equip normal short range fast torps as well wich makes it even more nasty against other dd's but are to short range to be really effective against bbs and cruisers. If they angle slightly away from you, you cant hit them anymore without being spotted. So yeah i agree, deep water torps dont really work to well unless you have the guns to back them up. Dont know why you Anshan a thumbs down though, if you play it right its a great ship

I have to disagree with you on the Ark Royal, Hood and Exeter. The new carrier has insane drops and also guarantees fires/floods. Hood has great HP pool and accurate guns up to a certain range. Exeter has a heal, smoke and is very versatile as a support cruiser. It's funny because I don't have these ships but I know what they are capable of.

Peek, I know this stuff is all just your opinion, but I cannot take you seriously about Ark Royal. It is the MOST broken CV in the game currently. It murders DDs/cruisers/and BBs alike. I'm pretty sure my average damage in the thing is up between 90k - 100k with around 3 kills per match, and I have quite a few matches that are upwards of 140k - 170k. If I'm not top of the team, I'm in the top 3... every time. It's disgusting.

The grind is crazy because as a new player you are not making that many creds and xp vs playing against vet players in random.

I sold the Lex, it was a complete let down.
