Just a beautiful song...and I don't think there is a man among us who can't relate to these lyrics in some way or another...

Music is supposed to make you feel something. Here we are with this emotional song.

Well, all I know is my woman back in the day the first time we heard this song all of us broke down in tears. I think it was the best I ever felt about a relationship in my life.

You couldn't go wrong with any song off Boston's first two albums. This is classic Boston -- no introduction needed and so damn good!! Great song, selection and reaction -- thank you, Rob and Harri!

This is a beautiful yet powerful, emotionally-charged song! One of Boston's best!

Thanks for doing this one. It has very special meaning to me while sitting for 3 weeks and 1 day with my 29 year old daughter in hospice care until she passed away on March 9, 2023. Ironically, Boston’s singer, Brad Delp, took his own life on the same day, March 9, but in 2007.

So glad you reacted to the FULL version and not the Official Video that is chopped by a full two minutes, including the entire guitar solo. 👌

I came from the same area north of Boston that all these guys did (except Tom). Pretty much everyone in that music community knew everyone else. They played in a lot of different bands and with a lot of different people as well as somtimes with one or two the others. I met them all but was closest to Sibby. We played a lot of the same bars and clubs, though being a solo performer I didn’t play the the large dance clubs they they did. I also managed a popular local band which happened to be Sibby's favorite band. One of the guitarists was his best friend from childhood, the other had been roomates with him, and the bass player also had been in bands with him. Of course we were all thrilled when they hit it big with Boston. They would all still occassionally show up at our gigs (except Tom who didn’t actually hang out with them often) and sit in with the band, much to the surprise and delight of the crowds. I sure do miss those days!

Amanda is a great ballad by them.

Love Boston, saw them in 79 or 80 when they played at my college in Nacogdoches, TX.

The first album was created in a basement of an apartment building by Tom Scholz who wrote it, produced it, mixed it and played almost all the instruments. And Brad Delp was the singer.
