If you are seeing this comment, first hello , and second..... I ask that you will pray for myself and my 7 children. I am a 30 yr. old woman, raising 6 amazing little boys and a beautiful daughter on my own ( which is the most cherished blessing of my life)! My car recently broke down, and I can not afford another . If you can pray about this, as well as any other prayers, would be greatly appreciated . Prayer request for financial wisdom, increase, income, etc., In Jesus Christ name prayer.

Tithing is an Old Testament concept. The tithe was a requirement of the Law in which the Israelites were to give 10 percent of the crops they grew and the livestock they raised to the tabernacle/temple (Leviticus 27:30; Numbers 18:26; Deuteronomy 14:24; 2 Chronicles 31:5). In fact, the Old Testament Law required multiple tithes-one for the Levites, one for the use of the temple and the feasts, and one for the poor of the land-which would have pushed the total to around 23.3 percent. Some understand the Old Testament tithe as a method of taxation to provide for the needs of the priests and Levites in the sacrificial system. After the death of Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law, the New Testament nowhere commands, or even recommends, that Christians submit to a legalistic tithe system. The New Testament nowhere designates a percentage of income a person should set aside, but only says gifts should be “in keeping with income” (1 Corinthians 16:2). Some in the Christian church have taken the 10 percent figure from the Old Testament tithe and applied it as a “recommended minimum” for Christians in their giving. The New Testament talks about the importance and benefits of giving. We are to give as we are able. Sometimes that means giving more than 10 percent; sometimes that may mean giving less. It all depends on the ability of the Christian and the needs of the body of Christ. Every Christian should diligently pray and seek God’s wisdom in the matter of participating in tithing and/or how much to give (James 1:5). Above all, all tithes and offerings should be given with pure motives and an attitude of worship to God and service to the body of Christ. “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).

A few years back. I was jobless. GOD TAUGHT ME ABOUT MONEY WHEN I WAS 32YRS YOUNG. LET ME TELL YOU. IF I MADE $5.00 I GAVE GOD $3.00 EVERY SINCE I STARTED TITHING WHAT I COULD. MALIKA THE BLESSINGS THAT I HAVE BEEN POURING DOWN. GIVE WITH A CHEERFUL HEART🙂🙂🙂🙂. YOU WILL BE DOUBLED BESSED.

Misleading in my opinion. Can someone define what giving to God means? This is like scaring people to pay tithe.

You are not forced to give: 2 Corinthians 9:7 says So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. However Paul prefaces that in the previous verse 2 Corinthians 9:6: But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

come to Me all you labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

The Bible does state in it in the old testament that God commanded that edible things be given for tithing. Additionally in the Bible in the old testament it states that God commanded that money not to be given for tithing. The Bible never shows any place in it that God changed to want money for tithing ! God gives the commandment not to give money for tithing in the Bible, but some men that call themselves ministers tell people to disobey God's commandment and give money for tithing ! Is the Bible the truthful word of God or are the words of some men that call themselves ministers the truthful word of God that is what everyone needs to question for themselves, do they believe what is written in the Bible or do they believe the word of some men ? Do you obey God and not give money for tithing, or do you disobey God because some ministers tell you to ? The law was disannulled by God in the new testament in, Jesus fulfilled the law, with Jesus as the new priesthood the law was changed, all this is stated in the Bible. I have 4 parts posted on here to read to show verses and more comments regarding this subject.

You would have made a good point if you were talking to unbelievers. As believers we are to WALK by faith and not by sight. Meaning when you give all you have, you are exhibiting your kingdom faith by taking the initiative to give God all you have. By doing this you activate God's movement in your life. You won't regret applying this principle, trust me

Gopd point ..i humbly dIsagree WHen he says God can give u disease and make u poor in one week.. Also devourer is mine i.e of God No god is good god always..nothIng evil comes from him. Yes when u obey god u r partakers if hIs blessings When u dIsobey God...u get curses becoz u r not under his hedge of protEction Simple..defintely he is not putting diseases and poverty on u..its ur free will choice

Dr.myles is saying if you mistreat your body by taking drugs, alcohol and other bad stuffs then he will allow sickness to come to your body cuz you have been abusing your body also bible says Our body is an temple of the Holy Spirit but if keep on putting unholy things on your body then judgement will take its place and you will be judge base on what you did and you will face the consequences by feeling unhealthy unless you repent and turn to God.🙏🏻

God don't need your money! He is the creator of everything all he asks is you obey his commandments! Salvation is free no amount of money is going to get you in the kingdom only obedience to his word but you must repent of your sins! Stop listening to these false teachers! Isaiah chapter55 1-3.

So stay 'found' while I cotinue to give and continue to receive, you wouldn't believe. The richest people give the most....why, because they keep getting, it's a principle

God is the Judge. No human being can properly judge him. I believe that he was a true prophet of God. He served God's purpose in the earth and now he's gone on to be with God!!! Thank You Jesus, for the ministry gift of Dr. Myles Munroe!!! :)
