In March I was between Snow and Ice point along the timbers, never in my life have I ever seen thousands of 2-4 blues skimming the surface, they spoke easily but it was fast limits using light tackle, bobber, with 1 inch cut bait. Tawok is by far hands down catfish capital. The hardest thing was not keeping 7 over 20 inches other than that I am glad they finally have that slot, too many big fish have been decimated but there are plenty of eaters which are better table fare.

Crappie any day over catfish, even bluegill over catfish. No catfish for me, has weird taste, and aftertaste
