This is the best version of all imo. Elvis had such range of voice, but mostly he just felt it. He put everything he had into every song he did. Elvis was also a great human being who did not look down on anyone. He deserved his title 'The King'. He always will be.

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but ever since Elvis died, many people have insisted that his death was faked, and he was still living in seclusion. Your candid and heartfelt reaction to this performance, and your sincere feeling that he must still be alive, is perhaps the best evidence that he will live on, as long as people can continue to feel the emotions that his performance has made you feel. It was spiritual and that's why people still don't understand it. When the physics of the physical meets the quantum aspects of our universe, people tend to have a hard time describing or understanding what they are witnessing.

We all have that feeling that Elvis is alive

One of the greatest songs of the last century sung by possibly the greatest male vocal of that century, just fall and drown in the richness of that vocal. Paul Simon the songs author (of Simon and Garfunkel) is supposed to have said upon hearing Elvis sing it live, ‘Hows am I supposed to compete with that?’ - its pretty special right. He couldn’t compete, but neither could anyone else. The King of Rock? No, that title is a disservice to Elvis in illustrating his greatness. King of Music.. That sounds better😁

Elvis has millions of fans, but his more famous hits aren't everyone's cup of tea. He did a lot of less pop, more gospel stuff too where he really cut loose. Worth checking out.

@@geraldlupp2636 well since the movie Elvis (2022) came out, so many more people are aware of his music...Also because of great reaction channels like this.. I saw the movie w/ my son. He's in his 20s and he really enjoyed it. Elvis lives on through his songs, forever.

Elvis fans never have gotten over his desth.He is with us daily.We miss him and will always love him.

That's why he is called the KING

I've heard this song so many times. My Mom played Elvis records all the time when I was growing up. This is such an incredibly powerful cover of the song, I cry every single time.

It is amazing to see so many 'reaction videos' from much younger people, many women who are finding the beauty of the older times in music, the 1950's-70's. It was always said back then, when Elvis was first starting that he was a White singer from the South who sang and moved like a Black singer. He is both, and loved all. He had a heart and loved God and felt the pain of the human condition. He sang it. Today can we do this again, all of us?

I've heard reactor after reactor, even if they intellectually knew he was dead, say it feels like he's alive when they listen to one of his performances. They even unconsciously talk about him in the present tense. It's really remarkable.

This was one of my mom's most Favorite songs from Elvis. I know your mother and my mother share the same birthday so in honor of them I will play this song on that day for them. I was 10 years old when he passed away and I still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news.

You were so into this Elvis performance. Wonderful!

You thought Elvis was still alive because this man had so much life in him it's hard to think otherwise. There is an old saying, I may be old but I got to see all the cool bands. I'm 71 years old and I remember seeing Elvis on TV from the very beginning. I was fortunate to see Elvis live in concert 4 times and the first time was in 1971 in Dallas, Texas USA. I was on the third row and of all the songs he sang that afternoon, "Bridge Over Trouble Water" was the best, It was almost like a spiritual experience, I was transcended. I'll never forget it, seems just like yesterday that's how powerful it was.

He would have been 86 in 2021. He might have been able to perform for a couple of more years if he was in good health. It’s incredibly sad he’s gone, we will always miss him terribly but he’s probably in a better place now. Poor man he was under so much pressure from the Colonel. What could have been if things were different?
