This video has ~15 minutes of gameplay footage. It is basically me just standing there and watching NPCs talk. I understand that this kind of thing is not visually interesting and it can at times get boring. Do you like having this extra footage of characters interacting with each other? Or do you want me to tone it down in the future? Feedback on this topic is highly appreciated.

I love that it's complete story wise. I can see why some people would not like it though. Just an idea: What if there are 2 versions of this video? One labeled "the Movie" with cut scenes only and the other "the Story" that way you'd have everything for everyone. Edit: Forgot to say, good job making this extra (substantial) effort to make it chronological. Lots of "All Scenes" videos jam everything they find in a playlist and that's it so thank you.

I very much prefer them with a little gameplay footage. It makes it feel more complete to me. And it's one of the reasons I was drawn to your channel among others that do story compilations! So much cutscenes in this expansion. As always you did a grest job putting it together! If they release some more videos/cutscenes/cinematics/whatever that take place chronologically during or before events in this video what will you do?

@@jereboy2005 I don't have a plan for if they release footage of past events, so for the time being I just hope they won't :P I did have a problem though with KulTiras, Zandalar and both of the War Campaigns happening at the same time chronologically, on which I decided to show KulTiras and Zandalar separately on this video, and start the second video with the 8.0 War Campaigns which transition pretty well to the 8.1 ones. If something new is added that happens the same time as those, I think it will easily fit at the start of the second video

Good job on this. This is amazing. I'd prefer having the ingame footage in these as well. It's a convenient way to catch up with the story.

The Horde story in this expansion is good indeed. But the Alliance story.. is emotionally on a different level.

Kathrine: where was the alliance when the horde attacked us? Jaina: where was Kul Tiras during the war against Illidan, the Lichking, Deathwing, purple garrosh, garrosh again and the whole goddamn legion?

Uh, you are forgetting that kul tiras left alliance all before all that happened and when Katherine proudmoore said"where was the alliance when the horde attacked, she meant during the Warcraft 3 bonus campaign in Theramoore where Daelin proudmoore died.

Where was Kul Tiras when the world tree was assaulted? They attacked the horde first. Jaina begged Daelin to stop it but he refused. He got what he asked for.

I dont think they forgot, azeroth is their world also... Thats like there being aliens seeking to destroy the planet and everyone on it and some countries just refuse to help because oh well its none of our business, the only excuse is they wasnt told, but come on, some of the events they shouldve noticed... You cant expect to survive all of the galaxy exploding and all thats in it dying while you hide or refuse to keep up to date from the fight of your world and your people and still survive... Also a lot of those powerful old gods etc and the hiding places like pandaria etc has been around the timeline of all the dangerous world destruction events and should also know with the aid of their respective whatever priests or deities that the world was dying and the other both they and the old gods etc should want to surivive or work with them or whatever, but for the sake of story some just cant help or doesnt know or doesnt care... But because of story telling and not too much subplot it happens like this and they forget or choose not to tell what pandaria and the goblins etc were doing during the invasion of the lich king, the legion, deathwing, the old gods etc That is why there exists books and fanmade lore and why you can always kind of build onto it, because no one can think of everything when new scenarios, enemies and friends need to be written are made in the future, so those who wrote the official story cant always go back in time and say what did they and those things did or happened to then, because they werent created yet

in order for that to happen they need to start a new game, the updates would be too massive to update the current retail version

Arthas went on path that he was destined to go. I am just mad at how he got wrecked in WoW. He was a genious of strategy yet he behaved like an idiot near the end. We also have it confirmed that Arthas never was under complete control and was around 60% free if not more. He was just suggested. He wasnt a death knight, he was the deathknight. He wasnt a litch king, he was the litch king. These roles suited none but him. Every 3rd generation DK looks fake, looks not undead and dont start me with a Litch king that burns red fire, incased in ice... As for role of a paladin. You have seen what the boy can do. No amount of mind control, even if its complete, can sway him from it. light is his destiny, it is the power which unleashes his full potential. Arthas could never summon that bubble.

Just finished this and am seriously hoping you are able to do the second part! I actually did very little of the Nazjatar/Mechagon stuff and even less of N'Zoth (never even been to Ny'alotha), so catching up on it via your videos would be fabulous! Thank you for all the incredible work you do....been having so much fun showing this to my friends! They're learning more about the lore than they ever expected to know haha!

you did quite a good job with editing this to feel like it had clean transitions when it could have felt more disjointed. excellent work!

Holy crap you made another one!! Dude I been waiting so long since seeing your Legion movie! I also read the novel Illidan like I mentioned i planned to in my comments on your previous vid. It’s a damn good book and that in turn led me to read the War of the Ancients trilogy, NOT disappointed by it in the least.

For the sake of peace, I would say that Baine should be the one that leads the Horde from now on. Thrall may have been the best Warchief before, yes, I mean it. But now... Baine is the best candidate for the job. He sees the bigger picture.

@@alexong2542 Sylvanas can see further. I doubt Illidan has knowledge of "Lords of death" stealing souls. Place for paladins is with the light, not with bastion. Dark elves should go to nature, not to winter queen. Death should only house necromancers, undead who died and those who use death magic. Instead they took ALL SOULS there to use them to harvest anima for their own profit. tehy say jailer is bad....others are just as bad, its just that they hide their true intentions beneath lies. They act as judges of human souls, taking souls away from where they should be going to and enslaving them to their own services. They should all be destroyed for playing God. Its especially sad for those paladins and light believers and those druids. Their resting place was literally stolen from them. Naru should be watching over paladins and light worshippers, not some fake angels who wipe your memories and things you hold dearest. They are evil.

Hmmm. I really enjoyed this! Having just today finished playing through Nazmir, I have to note that we're missing a number of cutscenes. Perhaps these had to be left out in the interest of having a smooth storyline. However, just a bit more gameplay and some of the more significant cutscenes might make for a bit more depth. Just a suggestion. I could never have done half so well as you have Xal!

I've written down subtitles for the video ^_^ You can enable them with the "CC" button on PC or the 3 bullet points on mobile. I've watched videos where subtitles were automatically enabled by default upon opening the video, but I don't know how to do it on mine :(

Is a part 2 in the works now? It seems that BFA is completely done now storywise. Hope to see it one day as I believe your videos are the best of all story compilation vids. You combine bits of gameplay to bridge some cutscenes and it really helps the flow!

I just watched both your Legion and BfA videos, and going through all the cinematics again, I'm starting to piece together some parts. It's as if, Shadowlands are what Argus created while he was being tortured by Sargeras - it was his dream, his escape. A chance for an afterlife for mortal souls. And a much as the Shadowlands could do good, they also had places like the Maw. Sylvanas got the chance to witness this after she killed herself off from a top of Icecrown, and decided she needs to alter this. After Argus was killed at the end of Legion, the machinery fo death broke (as he was Death itself, the Death Titan). Sylvanas might aim to restore this, by making Azeroth the next Death Titan, but at the same time, she wants to make Shadowlands a better place (i.e. without the Maw, so that no souls will experience the horrors she did when she had her glimpse into the Maw). I'm not sure how the Jailor and his pact with Sylvanas work into this, at this point in time. The Jailor could be Argus' manifestation, or Sylvanas could be playing him as well. Thanks for the video btw. When's part 2? :)

great so far ! i really enjoy your "Movies" since you really use EVERY Cutscene inGame not just the Cinematics! I wonder will you also do Pandaria the Movie and the other Expansions? Sadly BC, WOTLK and Cata didn't really had that much but there are some! Oh and how will you do it with BFA since the story isn't over yet..

My main comment about this is that it's great. My only gripe is if you put you do put your character in the scenes more if you would use a faction appropriate look/transmog. I just think it would seem like it would fit a little better.

Saurfang escaped the Stockades on patch 8.1. Here he denies the Horde's help and stays inside :)

looove your channel! just a little something is missing at the beginning if i remember correctly, sylvanas was actually planning to kill malfurion but almost failed, saurfang came to help and attackted him but didnt kill him i guess? i think it was the reason sylvanas actually burned the tree, she was going to use it as threat to bait malfurion but after she failed, she actually burned it? is it correct?

Yup, you are correct. Sylvanas left Saurfang alone with Malfurion to execute him but he didn't. Then Tyrande came and hearthstoned Malfurion away. I didn't include it because I didn't keep footage of it :/
