Patrick lost his left leg and underwent 38 back surgeries following a helicopter crash in Iraq. After years of living in a standard apartment, Patrick and his family will spend their lives enjoying automation and designs specific to his and their needs.
As Gary says, "While we can never do enough to show gratitude to our nation's defenders, we can always do a little more."

Wonderful, my concern is will they be able to pay the taxes to keep the house. I would love at this moment to thank Gary Sinise he is one dam good man! So many people have been helped by him and his position; 9/11 survivors battling after effects for example. God bless you sir keep up the good fight!

In many states, 100% disabled Veterans are exempt from property tax.
