Dimensions Compressed : 3.2” x 2.6”
Dimensions Inflated : 13.5” x 9.5” x 4.7” thick (regular size)

There is also a down-less version of this pillow that is even lighter weight
Reg - 13.5”x9.5”4.7”
Large - 16.5”x11”
Deluxe - 23”x15”
Price : $60
Colors : Grey with a white top, green with a white top,
Features :
Lightweight inflatable pillow with a layer of comfortable, quiet down insulation for camping or travel
Multi-function flat air mini valve provides easy inflation, fast deflation and the ability to fine-tune the pressure
Technical fabrics reduce weight, are durable, and will withstand exposure to moisture
Compatible with Sea to Summit camping sleeping mats with PillowLock patches to secure pillow in place
Baffle design reduces migration of down - in other words, it keeps the down in place so that you don’t develop a pocket of down. It’s always spread out
Review Pros :
Very comfortable - feels great on your head and also your face.
Excellent quality - never an issue with leaking
Plenty big especially if you are seeking a balance of weight and comfort.
Multi-function valve is excellent
Easy to inflate
Easy to deflate and roll up
Valve allows for easy adjustment of firmness
Extremely small when compressed
Very, very lightweight
Comparable Price to other name brand camping pillows - with that being said, there are plenty of pillows on the market that are much less expensive.
Review Cons :
If you are a VERY light sleeper, there is a bit of a noise to the down pillow top that you may hear as your reposition.
Not the thickest of pillows but when it comes to a camping pillow, most aren’t all that thick. For myself, I find that with a jacket under the pillow, it sits high enough for me to be comfortable.
Down topper isn’t revolutionary - it’s definitely nice but it doesn’t add a ton of comfort to this pillow.
Summary : For most of my life I have been wadding up a jacket and using that as a pillow. I can tell you this, this is far FAR more comfortable than that solution and here’s the best news; it adds very little weight to your pack.
Over the years I have used a number of pillows that were comfortable enough but ultimately I leave them behind.
That’s not the case with this pillow; I’ve enjoyed using this pillow and for most trips, this is something that I am going to grab. It’s very lightweight, comfortable to use and I can easily recommend it.
Who should be interested in this product? I would say anyone; this is going to be a great addition to any kit and it doesn't matter if you are overlanding or backpacking.

Been using an inflatable Sea to Summit pillow for years. If you don't sleep well at night, you pay for it the next day. Tip: if your pillow tends to slide around on you at night, just stretch a spare t-shirt over it and the top of your sleeping pad to hold it in place. Works like a charm and helps keep your pillow clean.

It took me a long time to find a pillow that worked for me. After many pillows purchased, i finally settled on the Therm-A-Rest compressible . Weighs a bit more . Does not pack up as small but the difference for me is night and day. It is crazy. Pillows are one of those things you really have to trial and error it. Buy cheap ones, Expensive ones. Knock offs. I think i have more freaking camping pillows laying around my closet then anything. This is one of those scenarios where "buy the best and only cry once" does not really apply. You have to buy plenty and wake up with a sore neck and ear until you find one that fits your head. ;D Anyways thanks for the Video Luke. Glad you found a pillow you enjoy.

Looks really nice! I enjoy your reviews. I also need a thicker pillow & after trying many different ones, I settled on one made by Paria. It has a down layer similar to the Sea to Summit but it is not inflatable. Instead, it has a pocket on the underside. I tuck an inflatable pillow into the pocket & blow it up. The combined thickness is more than any other pillow I've tried & the down top is very comfortable. It's more budget friendly too.

I personally prefer the Trekology Aluft Deluxe pillow, equally as compact and comfortable but cheaper and the strap that holds it in place is a nice touch. If you prefer a softer/down pillow then the Sierra Designs Dri-down pillow is nice and again, significantly cheaper. My two cents :)

The perfect hammock pillow...I love it. Down provides enough insulation that you don't need a full length underquilt to go above shoulder level and the down also provides enough sound insulation that unlike the more plastic like pillows, it doesn't act as a stethoscope and magnify the sound of every bug in the area. Also, you can get it on sale sometimes...or use that 20% off coupon that a leading outdoor retailer hands out a couple of times a year. Oh, and deflate it some to let it mold to the hammock shape...easy to do with that valve.

When you said "mold" I started wondering... Perhaps we need hand air pumps for these things, because using your breath to inflate it creates unnecessary condensation which might make your night more uncomfortable? Also, the mold...

I love the Goosefeet Gear pillow! I bought the one which perfectly fits the Aeros down pillow inside it (there is a handy table on the GG site to guide you to the size needed). Now it’s a great pillow with good height and smooth on the face. The two together are about 6oz. I stuff both into the same compression bag my sleeping bag is in so I save the 0.2 oz of the pillow stuff sack.

Hi Luke. Thanks for doing the pillow review. I agree the 4.7 inches is a bit shy for me as well. It would be nice if they had the same pillow in 6 inch thickness. And adjust from there with that handy valve. It might be adequate for my hammock, but I don't need a camping pillow collection.😎 I do like the idea of down. Cheers from 🇨🇦

I’ve been using the ENO camping pillow for years. It compresses down to the size of a grapefruit, has an interior pocket to stash stuff, if you want bulk you can stick extra fabric inside and still feels extremely comfy. On hot weather trips I like to stick cold packs in the pocket and that helps cool me off, same goes for cold trips the hunters hand warmers work great in the pocket.

I recently picked up aeros premium and sorry didn't sooner after years of struggling being a side sleeper often reverting to my bergen and a jumper. Big plus for me is the reverse is S2S pillowlock compatible too on all the newer ones so it sticks to my pad (ether xt insulated). Basically stick on micro hook pads on sea to summit sleep pads and loop compatible backing that feels like flock on the pillow so it wont slide around at all. Older models don't have it but you can get covers that will. No reason you can't add super small hook&loop / velcro etc patches to other brands of pad.

I would only consider this based on your review. Normally I wouldn’t even bother with an inflatable pillow, especially at this price point. I would just use my other clothing or towels if they’re dry.. I would probably even be tempted to purchase a cheap pillow and squish it down for travel. I’ve been quite pleased with the “my pillow” at home and recommend it based on that, but it would be a challenge to take it backpacking.

Well I'd love to see the label on 90% of that stuff, probably all made in China as well. To my surprise, my Outdoor Vitals pillow blew me away. I think it's fantastic, I put it thru hell and so far no issues. Btw, I now use it at Home everyday as my regular sleeping pillow. Oh n it's not nearly close to $60. I understand that many people want to have that special comfort item out on the trail but I'll take my awesome Outdoor Vitals pillow and have many dollars left over for several other essential or comfort items. Going calmpin/bushcrafting etc shouldn't only be for those w a lot of disposable money. Since camping became 'bushcrafting' (trendy), the prices on gear have become ridiculous. SeaToSummit does have great gear but even if I had an extra $60 I wouldn't spend it on a blow up pillow. Stay safe Luke, Be Blessed in all good things.

I have this pillow and it blows my mind how comfortable it is for how little space and weight it is. I have the large version and even that is only 95 gram. Sure it is pricey, but it's hard to put a price on a good nights sleep and reliability. Ive had quite a few cheaper inflatable pillow and they always fail in some manner. Either issues with mold inside because of moisture, or they leak air or start breaking apart in the seems... and if you are out on a long hike or bike tour with no shops in sight, that means you are gonna be miserable for the rest of that trip, unless you can sleep without a pillow.

I got size large of this pillow. For starters it’s almost the same size as the regular when inflated. I believe the info on this size pillow on sea to summit website is misleading. All my sleeping gear is of Sea to Summit. The softer side of this pillow locks in with Sea to Summit sleeping mat so it won’t move. For the down noisy side, I usually carry a towel that I place on it to keep it quiet and also clean from my facial oils etc.

Great review, Luke! I love Sea to Summit products but actually opted for a real pillow with the Teton Sports Camp Pillow. I had 2 different Cocoon inflatable pillows but I found myself waking up and my ears hurting from the pressure. So I decided that I would get better quality sleep with a real camp pillow. It weighs 9.2 oz and is 11"x16"x4.5". Since I'm a side sleeper, I cannot sleep very long on ANY inflated pillow without getting a pressure point pain on my ear. I am going UL but will still take a real pillow for comfort. It's worth it to me. Luke, you like Teton Sports! Check them out for their camp pillow like I did. No regrets! 😁

I have a sea to summit air mattress. I wonder if the carry sack for it that doubles as an air pump could blow this pillow up? Reason asking is I've read that blowing things up by mouth will eventually cause a buildup of undesirable microbes.

It does, you turn the sack inside out and there is the smaller diameter valve for pillows. I wouldn't worry too much about microbes though, perhaps the only downside is the moisture in your breath that could potentially freeze on the inside in low Sub-Zero temps.

G'day Luke, no doubt in my mind a bag full of clothes doesn't cut the mustard and man I've tried different clothes and different bags, lol. Dont mind pay'n a bit extra for quality; gotta say though, this one would be around, or over, 100 AUD after currency conversion and shipping......... F* - it, I'll carry a real pillow from home in a plastic bag before I'll pay that much, or alternatively drag in an appropriately dimensioned log, lol. Cheers Duke.

I have been looking for a permanent pillow solution, as the inflatables I buy literally every time leak after a few uses. I think I’m gonna bite the bullet and buy this.

hi, interesting video. i've seen also the Paria Down Pillow, did you try it? sadly i haven't yet found a decent pillow for me, i have serious neck troubles, and or they are too soft or worse, too hard. what do you suggest to a person with serious issues? full down with inner pocket or half down half inflatable? thanks

Not crazy about inflatable pillows. I tend to prefer the compressible models but Sea to Summit and Nemo both make good inflatable options.

That sound just like the pillow for me. I've always been disappointed in comping pillows for being too thin to support my head comfortably. At near 5" this may be the ticket. How has it held up with use?

They should add a small baffle that could be inflated separately for you to give more lift but I see an improvement in the extra baffle made it angle which I see giving back and side sleepers a bit more comfort. To me, that little add on can't cost more than a few cents to production and in turn, could leave the price where it is. Although no company would ever put a few more cents into a product and not raise the retail cost by $10 or more, which is kind of greedy in my eyes but I don't own a company that lives for the year end profit counts.
