This clip just has absolutely everything: Siobhan making England sound increasingly imaginary by insisting a totally real thing does exist, Lou taking offense as dramatically as possible, Murph suddenly becoming a raspberry mustard cop, Ally and Emily (I think) bringing a jingle with really wild energy into an already chaotic space… immaculate. Strong zoom energy.

I used to make toast with butter and grape jelly on top. Sometimes I make breakfast sandwiches at home. And the toast I make it with can have butter or both grape jelly and butter. It's not mind-blowing or anything, but it's good. Raspberry works too, but the flavor's usually milder and harder to pick up on.

@@queenblacc4579 Definitely! I just had never heard of it until I crossed paths with more people from that generation, and it seemed extremely common for that age group (like over 50% of the orders for the item came with a request for grape jelly). Figured it became popular a few decades back for that reason.

Grape jelly is perhaps the most common fruit spread in the USA. It is one half of the ubiquitous PB&J or peanut butter and jelly sandwich that is a fixture of American childhoods. Even kids with peanut allergies KNOW about PB&J bc their whole life is spent dodging it. I know peanut butter is scarce in Europe. The grapes in grape jelly are purple 🍇, typically Concorde grapes, not the green "white grapes" or "seedless grapes" sold in groceries. If you're European, just know that most of America has no blackcurrant, all our purple candies, sodas, etc. are artificial grape flavor. I only ever had blackcurrant gummies when I found them at Lidl, a German chain of groceries spreading here in the US. Grape jelly or jam is like a smooth, sweeter version of blackberry or blackcurrant jam. Jelly is made with fruit juice, jam is made with the fruit itself and is thicker. Preserves are chunkiest and thickest.
