Would You Install a Screen Protector? 13.4" Infotainment System in 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD

I did not expect to install one of these in my new truck, but after the first couple weeks of ownership I gave it a more detailed consideration after finding micro scuffs on the giant 13.4" screen in my 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. After all, the 13.4" screen is basically the center piece of the dash and it's got a lot of gloss between the screen itself and the bezel. I realize it's a truck, but I didn't want the centerpiece to be all scratched up prematurely. So what are my thoughts after 2 months of driving around with a screen protector installed? I'll share the details in today's video.

I put one on my last 3 trucks including the 2024 Silverado 2500 HD I just picked up last week. people think I am weird but they work great!

I’ve never removed the plastic off of mine yet. Had the truck for 6 months. I’m going to order a screen protector though. I had a Ram 2500 and the screen delaminated every you touched for radio channels.
This is a GREAT Idea! I sold allot of Stellantis vehicles and would always suggest a screen protector. I noticed that after time, the oil from skin can damage these screens and make permanent smudges.

Hmm, that's weird , add dust to everything, boom, won't notice the prints... Timkins, yet??
I need this asap. My kids dont care and touch it with dirty fingers lol
