This and Olympus Has Fallen are both stupid movies, nothing against the actors, and I'll even say the action scenes are impressive. But let's not kid ourselves. The entire premise is ridiculous, There isn't a terrorist faction in the world that would be this well armed and could successfully infiltrate that many institutions to pull off a plan this elaborate. So with no chance in hell of them selling this as a terrorist attack to stage a coup without anyone knowing they're behind it, why even try? No coup in history has tried to stage it as something else and the person behind it has never chosen to be anonymous. They just used force to depose the government and seized power, and if they had sufficient support of the military, they would win the subsequent civil war that followed, and that would be the end.

My guilty pleasure movie. It cheesy but love it. The ending with the daughter and the America. Flag still gives me goose bumps.

Yeah, that first agent would have had a clear sight if he stayed back and used the angle of the doorway... instead he hugged the doorway and step right into the open.

Secret Service in this movie can't hit a stationary pizza box at 5 yards wtf lol. Literally every time, bad guy has no idea they are there, SS opens up with a burst from 5 yards away and completely wiffs like something out of pulp fiction, bad guy turns around and blows them away one handed without even looking.

I love how he kicked her m after he was already dead. To me, says a lot about his actual ability as an agent.🤣

THE DUDE WITH THE MUSTACHE OWNS ONE OF THOSE 5,000 ROUND MAGAZINES !

The sad part is the the secret service could shoot for shit..

That VC-25A isn't going to reach 30,000ft in 45sec, not with a climb rate of 7-8,000ft/min for about 3 minutes then it will have to throttle down and drop the nose and it's climb rate drops to about 2,000-5000ft/min. That gives you 30,000 in 4-5 minutes.

call that one bad luck and it might be vaguely realistic. you might also expect the president to be transported in something a bit tougher or more rugged too, but this feels irrelevant to the idea of 747 climbing at 40k ft/m. imagine if the us actually had a 747 that was as fast as a fighter

Too bad this movie was ripped off from Vince Flynn’s novel “Transfer of Power”. They just changed the hero from CIA counterterrorism expert to a Secret Service agent, and the enemies country of origin, just to avoid paying the man for his story. It’s a shame. The book had a much better story than this cookie cutter crap. Same with “Van Wilder” starring Ryan Reynolds. They blatantly stole Bert Kreisher’s college life. F’ing Hollyweird!!!

they shouldn't have cast James Woods for that role, anybody would've expect him to betray. no twist
