Try to cook eggs that are about a week and a half old. Cook by immediately dropping the eggs into boiling water, not cold

Mine come out perfect. Cold water in a pot. Add eggs. Heat to boil. Once it hits rapid boil take off heat and cover for 15 min. Take eggs out and put into ice bath.

I made it this morning. I did have to sub sausage for the bacon and cooked yellow onion for the purple onion. Because that is what I had on hand. It was delicious!!! The raw egg yoke added flavor and moisture that it needed.

Try to cook eggs that are about a week and a half old. Cook by immediately dropping the eggs into boiling water, not cold

Mine come out perfect. Cold water in a pot. Add eggs. Heat to boil. Once it hits rapid boil take off heat and cover for 15 min. Take eggs out and put into ice bath.

@@MobileMusicSoft BOILED indicates that it's soft BOILED meaning that it's COOKED long enough to kill the bacteria so NOT raw!! do you mean just fully boil the damned thing? because not all people love the texture of boiled egg yolk.. I do..boiled egg yolk contains all the collagen!! and before you even think it I DON'T love the runny texture of soft boiled ,or poached, eggs.. gag!! except for eggs Benedict..now THAT'S an awesome egg dish!

That would be if you excluded the liability that is the raw egg yolk. Salmonella may not be that common in modern days, but it is pretty much still a thing to consider.
