I'm not buying the "don't have a pit place to practice" . You have a parking lot and some concrete barriers. Get some paint, mark it out and practice wherever.

When a hendick team has pit issues (albeit rarely) they keep it in house not go on a podcast tour about it. That's how championship teams do it

Don't pressure the crew to be time perfect. Just work on consistency. Then start bringing the times down.

Denny as an Owner now you can try to hire and train guys who have a passion and drive to be a part of NASCAR and are willing to learn. Post an open try-out for people to come out and get onto your pit crew training program. If you do not have a bunch of guys who love racing and are willing to work and train year-long as well as to do whatever else is asked of them you not doing enough.

What facility is needed to train pit crews? You need a car, pit box, tools, 4 extra tires, and a room to watch the footage and do the study work on getting better. The rest is physically training and working in the shop. No excuse to not get better. Train more. I would give my everything to be a part of a Nascar team. Hell any pro level series race team including arca.

Bubba would have 2 or 3 more wins and about 20 top 10s to add to his career if only he had a competent pit crew. They actively destroy his chances regularly.

I could make the argument that Bubba only has 2 wins because of a rainout and Kurt Busch’s injury. He won a rain shortened race just because of when the caution was thrown and he only won Kansas because he drove Kurt’s race winning car. It’s hard to say someone would have had more wins or less wins because there are millions of variables
