Thanks for the video. Cant wait to pull a2. I dont have summer glacey but i think i can make the devout, ice and great sword angkes work. I love automata so i need to get her. For that same reason id rather the 2p guide next !

A2 is great on so many teams. Love the unit!

On the glacy comp, I am using faris instead of howlett. Faris adds sustain with her sequential ability too. Also no matter who you use as 3rd slot for the team, you can use the summertime glaccy VC as sub for a little extra aoe res, chain res, and bestowed bonues on glacy. I think that card deserves a mention. Great work though! I am so excited!

I really like the prospect of Gilgamesh being a source of haste/quicken for A2 while providing the diamond remove reraise/slash imperil. The reality is he'll just be too squishy. Maybe work in a tank in the form of trandescence Fryevia as an ice anti magic team.

That’s a good combo. You are absolutely right. Gilgamesh is great to help A2 to deal with re-raise, in return she can protect his barrier. The synergy is very good. I think the Fryevia & A2 combo will be very popular in GL. She is just a very solid tank.

If I don't have enough viz to go for her, a2 and lucio, which one should I prioritize? Oh, and I see Veritas is also coming out in global this week.

Tough call. If I have to pick one, A2 would be my choice. She is much easier to build around.

Thanks for the compliments. I think the order is something like this: - Sol & Shalze - Astrius & Shazle - Summer Glaci & Howlet/Alaya Re-raise would be the biggest roadblock for A2 when going up against that team. A2, Shalze & Sol have enough sustain to tough it out.

@@kt7up7 Not too familiar with this area, but it looks like people of the internet are recommending ElevenLabs. I believe there is a free tier available as well. I played around with it myself and it sounds pretty good. Text-to-speech, of course.

what is the best team for A2 & if greatsword get a unit resist VC would they be more competitive to compete against other job based vc?

For a full great sword team, Astrius is her best partner. The 3rd unit can be either a tank or DPS. Rain or Jume. Hyoh or Bronwell or Winter Reviesse. The nice think about A2 is that she can take full advantage of the OG Odin card. If you have Shalze, you can give her 2 Agility VCs and run her along with A2 & Astrius with great sword cards.

At 19:04, you said Odin VC and Esper is given to every player. I am a new player, do you know where they give Odin?

I believe they changed it. Odin is no longer free for new players.

For me, both Howlet/Alaya and Sol/Shalze teams have been very successful. In GL, Fryevia should be one of her best partners.

Broadly speaking, yes, the team can take on the Raph, Vivi & Helena combo. Just need to gear them properly. They are very unpredictable with all the status effects. Try gearing Glaci for more magic res & give the 2 DPS marshmallow hat. Be sure all 3 units have good stun & sleep res then you just pray that the statuses don’t land. Some espers to consider for Glaci are Fenrir, Great Demon, Demon Wall and Dark Siren.

I would pick A2 between the two if I must choose. She is easier to build around and doesn’t require a lot of new VCs to build around. Lucio is awesome too but definitely not as easy to master as her.

I did showcase videos for all 3 units in the past. Don’t think I will revisit them anytime soon, I am working on 2P & Lucio at the moment. It seems that team mainly uses the FMA & Young Olede VCs and plug in the rest with offensive card fire/devout cards. It should work well to bait lightning Astrius teams.

Hi KT7Up, I just want to point out that newer players in the Global server are given Ramuh and Ifrit VCs (level 1) when they join the game. They are not given Odin for free at any point (which you mentioned in 19:03).

I was planning to skip A2 since I'm primarily a light main and new Lucio coming soon seemed like a no brainer. I only have enough vis for one of them. No Ice Howlet or Ice Jayden built (and won't be any time soon). You have me thinking now, it's a tough call.

Lucio’s banner (likely next week) should overlap with A2’s. You will have time. Both units are awesome in their own ways. If your light element is stacked, go with Lucio first. A2 is very easy to build around and you always have the option to slow build all the ice units.

Hi thanks for watching and welcome to WOTV. Howlet is using the Flowering sword, to obtain it: Farplane -> Events -> Farplane Archives -> Unit -> Deah Acquisition quest Finish that then the go back to the archives tab, then the Flowering recipe quest will appear.

You are welcome. I suggest to craft a magic type first. Aim type is also a good choice just to deal with semi evade teams. And yes Fryevia can take full benefit of that sword.

She's better off with the following gears: A2 Sword Black Box TMR You can achieve 50% sleep resist with Maniple Esper(25%) and Truststone(25%) She can also get to 75% stun resist with truststones.

I’m a little concerned how rapidly the WotC characters are coming. Maybe Lynx and Kitone arrived back to back because they are 70 cost and can be had for $$? I just hope that the remaining characters aren’t packed so closely. Also GL is supposed to get a new Jeume somewhere, starting to think she may be framed as the GL “not anniversary” unit.

I was surprised by Kintone’s timing too. She is the 4th new unit & 3rd WotC unit this month. I was just expecting a rush when I saw eight silhouettes but now to this extent. Now that we have half of the cast, hopefully they will slow them down. Do you think Jume will be a seasonal unit, maybe for Vday or Lunar new year?

@@kt7up7 My first thought with Jeume was that she’d be a Lunar New Year release; this is a Dragon Year so seems too good to pass up. But with the Road to Worldwide it’s hard to say if they intend to do any more LNY units. It’s possible though and maybe a reason for GL players not to go too ham on Nier or Lucio until we get closer. I hadn’t thought about Valentine’s Day, partly because we used to not get those in GL until like June and partly because those are shared with JP and Jeume was supposed to be a GL unit when the vote was taken. But Gumi is unpredictable these days

Her banners will be around for at least 40 days, save up and see. She will work very well with Astrius & Bronwell (congrats btw). Folken might be coming on Feb 1st on JP, he is likely to be a fire pierce unit.

Yeah. If you are referring to a team build, go to the sample team section of the video. I have a f2p friendly budget team there. If you are referring to the unit and vision card then here: You can slow build her in the barracks or get her shards with free visiore. Also her shards are available for exchange with soul medals. Check the bingo board and event missions, there are ~160 free unit shards as well. Her vision card shards however will need to be purchased with visiore (free) to max out. All the NieR shops will go away one week after the collab ends, be sure to complete all her missions before then.

I suppose you are newer to the game? Fenrir’s shards can be exchanged with guild medals, 5 per day. The regular Odin VC is a gift for all players. A2 is a good unit to build around, this game does take sometime to get up to speed.
