Tifa from FF7 Adventure Children collab. Should arrive in GL in 2-3 weeks. AC tifa is the free unit.

Man that’s tough. The MR Chcobo card is the only other generic agility card. It has 6% agility in the sub slot after elder awakening.

I was dead set on Ash Mont before but I might have a change of plans now that AC Cloud is a thing 😭 hopefully it’s not another bad decision by yours truly lol 😭 Also here’s hoping I can get him when he eventually reruns bc that’s my only hope at this point :')

Main: Ramza VC 15 agility Sub: 2P VC He has Blood sword +1, Hermes Sandals +6 and Ashen Kitone’s TMR

For his Truststones, I've heard of some JP players using Attack Stones for right side since his base stats are already so high, having more raw damage could be better to kill units faster. Is there some merit to this or are the bonuses negligible/not consistent enough to warrant the potential loss in turn order. Great vid as always.

Yep I have seen and went up against that setup quite a few times. With attack TS, he will need to make for the agility difference from other sources, Ashen Kitone’s TMR & Dark Bahamut are required. In a mirror match, the one with higher agility usually has the advantage. It comes down to ashen king 1v1 most of the time.

My best pick out of the proposed teams would be Mont, Jeume and Glacie. But I don't have the Death Machine VC for AoE res. Do you think it is a big factor?

With other units, you typically do need the 20 AOE res. (In GL the ildyra thanksgiving card also has 20 AOE res for all.) With Ashen King & Jeume, you are likely be ok without it. The setup would be something like this: Main VC: Dark Siren Regular Odin Voldiskke Sub: Love for hiryyu Stargazer Generic agility

There 3 don’t share any VCs… but I think you can have Ashen King & Oldoa use their VCs from the mixed earth & ice team, and have Kitone use the free FMA card as her main & the Voldiskke has sub. The team isn’t very defensive but should work.

Not sure if it would help, but fire Oberon's TM gives a group AP cost down buff. So someone else could give that buff to Ash King.

Hey KT7! The video I was waiting for, thank you and awesome as usual! Question for you/in GL we have access to a paid lvl 99 VC. There are a few good ones that would benefit Mont. I do plan on pulling for his VC. I currently do not have a knight AGL card. I was thinking Crystal Lucio's card that covers Knight, Warrior, and Red mage (I think?), because of the slash up and penetrations. Do you think I should go for something like Dark Siren for earth AGL or is he fast enough to focus on his power/penetrations first? Lastly, what's your take on Fangs VC? With Dark Siren..Young Oelde combo?! Lol. Ty!

On the VC select banners, always go with the 90 cost. The espers are super strong. And you have a better chance to pull Lucio VC randomly than any dark cards. Lucio VC is a great card for him, it has slash pen & unit res but it doesn’t pair him with any next gen units yet. Dark Siren on the other hand, can pair him up with Spring Jeume. The highest agility Ashen King can get to is around 123, which is kinda 🌰…. If you want to run young papa & Ashen king together, replace love for hiryuu and Voldikke from my water & earth setup with Fang VC & stargazer.

For mixed earth & ice, Regular Odin is the best replacement. For mono earth, the 🦌

What is the best team to counter him?

There really isn’t a great way to that can counter him well at the moment. A full GS team with AC cloud & Spring Jeume have the best odds. A Volke led spear team with F Glaci & Odele can get the job done. Beside those, a maxed out evasion team or a missile team could work on certain maps.

Did you pull the ff7AC unit and vc as well? Must be hard on the wallet😅

I've been holding my guaranteed UR vc banner for awhile. Seems i'll pick dark golem then, to pair him with A2 and oldoa. Skip dark siren because i don't have jeume 😂

Yeah. The VC is a must have for ice & earth. The esper is awesome for tanks plus it can boost ashen king damage when summoned! Great choice!!!

A high accuracy mono wind team will take out evade Ashen King team with ease. That’s why I like Oldoa & A2 with him, mono wind has no chance against that setup. A Volke led spear team with F Glaci & Odele can take out mixed earth & ice. There isn’t a great way to deal with Ashen King atm. Range unit can get the job done on larger maps but it is still a coin toss.

Yeah earth evasion is one of the toughest team to beat. Not only the team need to have good accuracy, they also need good agility and preferably haste.

Might skip AC for him, and save Vis for another Collab outside FF franchise. Don't want to miss someone like Bradley again 😬

Wow, last fight, Jeume with negative to missle dmg, standed there under bombardment and didn't gave a shit about the incoming projectiles. Devs must do something with ranged units, they're hopless.

@@kt7up7 Also their problem is actually range, cause all recent "melee" can reach sometimes 6-7 squares, wich makes ranged units within the reach in 1-2 turns and while they can barely scratch bruisers, in turn they'll probably will die from 1-2 hits.

So true. I much rather they make a missile unit with shorter range in exchange for some bulk. That’s what they tried to do with Lynx but it as a half baked job. Guess they are saving it for a next gen missile unit. Please be Glaci’s sister

I love how every WOTV content creator just casually recommends $4k-5k USD worth of different units, VCs, Espers and equipment for every new unit review video 😂. How about a breakdown of what F2P folks can reasonably accomplish by investing their accrued 12k free vis on a given unit. I bet they'd get 100x more views with videos like that. Trouble is, I don't think any of em know more than the basics about the F2P experience, and they're so busy dumping all their YT/streaming revenue into the game that they'll never be relevant to the avg player on a budget with only 10 bucks of disposable income, lol

Every whale was or is a F2P at some point. I played many gacha games as F2P in the past, and am still actively playing 4 other gacha games as F2P. WOTV GL is very generous in terms of giving out in-game currency. Being a F2P in any game is about resource management. Knowing you can't pull on every banner, saving your vis and only pull on banners that can enhance your account or increase your enjoyment is key. At the end of the day, this is just a game, we are all here to have fun. I can't speak for all WOTV content creators but the purpose of my videos are to show fellow players, rather F2P or paying players, how the upcoming units perform, which units work best with the new release, and what do you need to optimize the performance of the new unit. The viewers can then make a informed decision to pull or not. I argue unit review videos like what I do on my channel help F2P players better manage their resources. Whales also need to manage their resources, not just in-game ones, but actually real life resources too. I would choose to put food on the table over buying vis at any given moment. YT money is so little, it is laughable. You have no idea. I believe most of us are not doing YT for the money. We do it out of passion for the game and the community. For me, it is also great creative outlet.

@@kt7up7 fair enough, I'll concede your points to some extent, and your response was good communication. I still think a channel would grow more by including more content specifically tailored for a larger audience than the whale-base. This kind of review is great for those with the means to cap a new unit the day of release, but you have to at least recognize the avg player gonna find it kind of depressing to hear how all their efforts to combat the last META is now pointless 😅. Then again, that's just the nature of the thing I suppose. When you grind and build up a good unit, by the time it's ready for competitive use, it's no longer effective, lol. Seems the devs really working hard to ensure that. 🫤
