Yeah that team has so much healing & HP…. A pain to deal with

Quick question, does Lightning's temporary crit damage buff on Blazefire stack with Truststone Crit Damage up? I ask because temporary stat buff effects usually do stack with permanent ones (see Martialist's garb HP up combos with HP up truststone) and can really give her some extra damage she normally wouldn't have.

Yeah they stack. Conditional and non-conditional effects are categorized differently.

Was thinking of building Hope's VC but, spent 5k vis on a banner with 125 vc shards of choice upto dark siren I think...I tried to raise dark odin XD. I'll save up for future units instead

I completely agree with this list. Oldoa's VC looks like a good sub slot VC. Just like Dario's lol.

I have Lightning and Snow on previous run. This time I'm aiming for their VC. I'll observe if Fang were needed in my current lineup. Maybe I'll skip Oldoa since she's a semi-limited. I'll get her later like I did with some crystal units.

The Esther VC is way better than lightnings. And I was gonna do Snow's too, but it's just not there anymore with all the great cards ice has. Maybe as subplot, but then the bonuses are so minimal.

Esther’s VC has unit attack res 20 whereas Lightning’s has 20 AOE res. Both are must haves for the element.

Wish Snow would get a weapon with this rerun. I already have the current 3 at 140, so Fang is gonna have a lot of mind spheres to play with... Also, glad I farmed 9S' spear. Seems like a good match with Fang.

Question, I am new to the game and I want to start with the ff13 collab, which lvl 120 characters that are free right now are recommended? And am I looking for a Vc or Espers for a team with lightning?

Welcome to the game. If you plan to start with Lightning the unit I would suggest to pickup her VC, Odin’s Chosen. Also pickup Alaya the Alabaster (Lightning element girl in wedding dress) from the unit of choice banner. Just a heads up if you want to get into pvp, 2 of the 3 most important VCs for Lightning element are limited. - 20 AOE res (Lightning chosen) - 20 Unit attack re (Squall’s card or Esther’s card) - 15% agility (Salire vs Rayches, not limited) I highly recommend to focus on VCs over units. Also try to focus on 1-2 elements and at least 1 weapon type. Alaya the alabaster is still a top DPS unit, prioritize her. Esper-wise, Regular Odin is one of the best for physical dps units. Ashen Oldoa is coming up in the next few weeks, she is arguably the best tank in the game, consider picking her up. Along with Ashen Oldoa, Lightning Astrius will be back as well. He is a great Lightning unit, but his pull rate might be really low. I don’t recommend chasing him. It takes a while to learn all the systems in the game and build up your account. Enjoy. @@kt7up7 ok thanks, the truth is that I know very little about the game and I am interested in making a team for Lightning the character, although I don't know if it is good for pvp, and what other element or weapon is advisable to choose? And which characters among the lvl 120 free ones are worth it? Can I choose one from each group of 3 (oberon, helena dark, amnelis), (Lila dark, Sadali, Marcherie earth) and (dark fina, light stren or wind Glaciela)?

Yes I believe you can choose one unit each step, it’s been a while since I started a new account. - Helena great pve unit - Sadali, mainly to go with Flag Glaci - Flag Glaci, she is just very strong all around Most people find light & dark are the easiest elements to build but I think you just need to start with whatever is featured around the time you start playing. In my opinion, a great tank Oldoa (ice/staff black mage) is coming very soon and a major story character, Ashen King (most likely earth) should come in early May. Those 2 elements have some VC synergies. If you decide to go with Oldoa, then try to get light Helena (younger looking artwork). She is the top magic dps unit in the game. There isn’t a best element to start with since it will take some time for you to get those units to 140 and have the VCs to build a strong team. For weapon type teams, staff black mage might be the easiest at this moment, since Oldoa is coming and Young Helena should be selectable. Generally speaking for a good pvp team, you would want these 3 party abilities from your main slot VCs: 20 AOE resistance 20 Unit attack resistance 15% Agility You can look for MR VCs that have these abilities with lower value.

From 0 to 275 shards, you will need 2050 stars. We will all get 80 gil shards plus 75 bingo shards (global only), so you will need 120 more shards which is 500 stars.

Yeah the character’s bingo board came back with page 2 added.

Snows LB upgrade is significant. 6 total upgrades makes him a complete unit. Can’t wait to pair with A2

Likely next week or the week after. Dario is the last unit before Fang. THe one exception is that a global first unit o valentine's unit gets slot in.

She's not bad for PVP either, but yeah, not S tier.

It's a shame they shafted Fang with the flurry of 100 cost we've been getting. I named my account after her and started playing on the first FF13 collab erythromycin the hopes of getting her on the rerun and now this😔

As a spear unit, Fang is still waiting for a true spear carry. Hopefully Volke or Ramada will be that unit.

@kt7up7 I've pulled every spear unit and VC in preparation for her. Hopefully, she pairs well with Dialdo and Shadowbae although she'd need to hit HARD cause Shadowbae has 140+ Accuracy and Crit. I'm not to caught up with the story but if its a fire spear unit like some people are saying trap teams will go crazy.
