As previously promised this is the comparison of the Worx Hydro Shot vs the Ryobi One+ power washers. Both are battery operated and have similar specs.
Worx 20 volt, 320 psi, 0.5 GPM
Ryobi 18 volt 320 psi, 0.8 GPM
The Worx has been my after race
ide muddy bike cleaning goto tool for a couple years. I just picked up the Ryobi to see what it could do a month or so ago.
I'm leaning slightly more towards the Worx it seemed a touch more powerful. Neither washer is a replacement for a garden hose but if your someone that doesn't have access to a garden house or? Such as an apartment dweller or are in a remote location etc both will do a decent job
If you're interested in buying either washer the links below are my Amazon Affiliate links helps which help a small bit with the "bike parts" budget!

    Nice video, we've just gone for the ryobi powerwasher to help keep our honda clean, got the foam bottle add on too to help with the process and a wheel brush. Quick question ,can you attach your garden hose using the house water supply ? Have you tried this yourself ?

    Before choosing Worx you need consider what Ryobi offers in available tools. Arent ryobi batteries cheaper then the worx? they generally have ryobi days and mark down the batteries and tools even further. My thought when getting involved in OEM batteries you typically stuck with one platform so why not choose a product that has greater line up of tools to choose from, so down the road you need less batteries and chargers when using Ryobi, meaning less cost. Some people like a multi platform tool arsenal but i just dont want to make up more space for batteries and chargers.

    Absolutely agree picking one battery variation or the other and sticking with it is the way to go. In my case, I had several Worx yard tools and the power washer already. Fo a home improvement project at the beginning of the years, the "Ryobi Days" program at Home Depot was just too hard to pass up to get my "Tool buying on" I'll absolutely continue to by Ryobi stuff love it! That said In my experience the Worx power washer was a touch better. (but not by much)

    Good video but they both look like sad attempts of being a "pressure washer" I know they can be used anywhere but for not much more you can pick up a small petrol washer. I was looking to buy one of these but Ill give it a miss.. Thanks youve saved me the hassle of returning one

    Wouldn't really consider then heavy duty use washers. For my specific use, bicycle races without a regular water supply really not prudent to carry a gas can in the car with me to an event 2 to 4 hours from home

  • @cameranmanner4701

    @cameranmanner4701

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@marcoc2706 im not sure you can do that, as the water changes when applying soap. the pump is not made for pulling up soap creating added stress to the motor. I just use a separate bucket with soap. This is for my car. on final rinse you can use distilled water to minimize water spots when drying occurs.

    I have the Portland 1750 psi pressure washer from Harbor Freight, used it for the first time today and it was fantastic. Takes a little time to hook up and get going so I thought I'd take a look at one of these and save the Portland for bigger jobs. Having seen both in action, I'll have to pass. I can see some useful applications for these in cases where you don't have access to running water and electrical but it's no substitute for a real pressure washer.
