At this point Im not amazed, Mattel is just giving us $25-30 worth dolls and not even trying to give us quality, beautiful designer dolls. This collection looks more like a playline set you'd find at Walmart. Don't get me wrong, they are pretty but is disappointing

Yeah, gotta agree, I see why Randy Rainbow is obsessed with Rainbow High Dolls. They go ALL OUT on outfits AND accessories. I absolutely love G1 Monster High AND a lot of the Mattel Creations and SDCC Monster High girls, but Mattel's fallen behind MGA in the extras & embellishing department. 👍

I'm sorry but when are we as a collective going to boycott Mattel? As a 30 year old who has grown up with the original American girl dolls and monster high dolls, it literally pains my heart what Mattel is doing. The quality has absolutely gone to shit, with monster high, American girl, barbie (even though I was never a barbie collector, the quality decrease is so blatantly obvious.) Yet Mattel will use nostalgia to get people to buy these dolls meanwhile they give us shitty quality, and a higher and higher price point year after year. Yet people want to shit talk MGA about their prices, however look at the quality MGA is giving us while proving they actually LISTEN and CARE about their customers. For example the collector Lily Cheung doll was $80 but the quality was IMPECCABLE, with a second outfit, accessories, and just overall a doll and gorgeous pieces that in my opinion are worth the price. MGA'S playline dolls are worth more in my opinion then the bullshit quality Mattel has been putting out for their "collector" dolls. It's sad because they know that people love monster high and American girl so much they will still purchase them because they're hanging on to what these dolls USED to be. Mattel is greedy, money hungry, and doesn't give a shit about their consumers. Take for example Mattel creations and how it's been YEARS since their loyal customers have been pointing out the flaws with the website with bots and resellers. But have they done anything? Nah because Mattel doesn't care about us. They only care about money. And it's evident in this cheap excuse of a "collector" doll, which will still sell out in .2 seconds, and people will say Mattel "slayed" this release. Please. I wish people would open their eyes and show Mattel that we are worth more than the crap they think it's acceptable to give us for ridiculous prices. People should look at the quality Mattel is putting out vs what MGA is putting out. It's not even a competition, yet people will still complain about spending $30 on an amazing quality rainbow high doll but won't blink an eye spending $75 for this cheap ass quality with no effort put into design and execution, just because it's monster high. I'm over it. I LOVE monster high, but at this point I'm not giving a cent of my money to Mattel and their greed. Thank you for attending my Ted talk. Edited to add: Can you imagine the amazingness we would get if MGA owned Monster High? Amazing Rainbow high and LOL OMG quality and attention to detail for our fabulous ghouls? I can only dream... I don’t like the mask or shoes. Interesting the straps are on the bracelets. I like the green in Frankie’s hair. Would love to see without the jacket to see the bodysuit more I do like the legs of the bodysuit. Def agree $75 seems high compared to the 1st haunt couture which had more stuff. 💚💙🖤

The only Haunt Couture I bought is Lagoona Blue, she just arrived. Gorgeous! I've got all three Midnight Runway girls, they take my breath away, and I've pre-ordered Jenifire Long Midnight Runway Fang vote, even though the fans mixed and matched on her accessories I still love me dragon girl. 🥰 The masquerade theme got me, I'm a Mardi Gras, Circus, Jester, Harlequin, Pierrot fan. (So Freak du Chic got me OBSESSED with Monster High) 🖐️❤️🌹

I actually had to order this doll. Right now I only have 2 haunt couture dolls the first wave draculaura and cleo . I eventually want to get all 6 of the main ghouls as "designers" dolls but have them be waring there original outfits from the default design

I bought the Love Edition from Amazon.. Should be here by Valentines Day .if shipping isn't delayed. Estimated date was later this month.. I want the Edition dolls as they come out. The Haunt Culture dolls not so much.. They are cool though. . if I didn't like the other dolls and play sets, I would have spent the money on these..they are for collectors . ours are for family.. I like the doll...

while they’re fine as a doll, no way are they worth 75$. they just look so low effort compared to the original haunt couture dolls, which all feel so high quality and fancy, they rlly feel like collectors. the skullectors have also gone downhill with their quality so hard, it feels like mattel testing how cheap they can get with these skullector dolls.

I agree with what a lot of the others have said. This line should NOT have had Frankie and Cleo again! That being said, Cleo is probably my favorite out of the three with her great headpiece and outfit. But I don't think this line is worth the high price point that the others have brought in. They're trying to cash in on the older collectors now that they know that they have us again. This set is lacking so much, many of which you hit on. The background is too plain, there's no extras, and what we do get is kind of basic. Her face is great, but is that worth the price? If it wasn't for the fact my husband wants her, I'd be passing on her tomorrow.

It's supply and demand. Mattel doesn't have any integrity, it's just a big company trying to make as much money as possible. And as long as people are still paying these prices, Mattel is going to keep pushing quality lower and lower and see what they can get away with.

They have the nostalgia factor. No one else in the world can supply Barbie or Monster High. There is no better alternative for people who are dedicated to these brands. I know MGA dolls are better quality, but I just don't like them.
