Watching you to get rid of the glue sippage is so helpful! When I am washing my dolls again I will surely give oxyclean a try! Thank you for that :3 They turned out great. My favorite of the five are Robecca and Clawdeen💕

Hmmm? With "The Walking Dead" new fans no more Skelitas by Mattel? I'm a Night Of The Living Dead zombie collector and my 6 inch action figures are more numerous than a 12 inch doll collection for zombies. Even WWE did a zombie version for boys in 6 inch. Note Zombie Spawn for old McFarlane action figures an inch or more taller.

I hope the reboot will go well,cant wait to see dolls on store shelves!

Tip for the glue in the hair, use baby powder and cover all spots that are sticky with a lot of powder, let it sit for a few minutes, than rinse the hair with Isopropylalcohol and let it sit again for a few minutes and than wash them like you do maybe witch a nailbrush that you get all of the powder out, sometimes it needs two rounds but i got any glue that were in my dolls hair out and the powder and Isopropylalcohol do not damage the hair. I love how creative Mattel got with monster high in the dolls, like Robecca is all gold and metallic like an actual robot, and Skellita is an actual skeleton which was super cool to see in the art style. This show definitely influenced my passion for art lmao

For my thrifty dolls, I wash them with dish soap and with the hair I use some detanglier stuff. I work at a thrift store and that’s where I got mine, but I haven’t seen any for a while. But hopefully this summer and spring we get some in because of yard sales

always is a little disheartening to see how the doll producers choose to change clawdeens skin tone for no reason, i feel like a doll of this with her natural skin restored would be so cute and also just less harmful to younger dark skinned girls

I grew up with monster high in my teenage years I still have my entire collection

watching mh get cleaned will always be satisfying to me

I was there when the original monster high aired on nickelodeon i really dont know why i never got a doll but I love monster high and im really impressed how you fix the dolls

I use the Aussie Moisture conditioner, it's so good with the doll hair. And I do also use the miracle cream from the same brand when the hair is wet after shampoo and conditioner, I tried it once to check if something happened, and it made the hair more manageable IMO.

So satisfying I can’t wait for the new monster stuff in 2022

the conditioner I use on my dolls is the same I use for my hair, garne fructis sleek and shine and it’s wonderful, I actually found our pancake boss uses it too!!

What I do for falling straps, I put a clear elastic around the doll's arms to secure the straps

I have Gloom Beach Draculuara I got her off of eBay with everything she's supposed to come with and it was only $20. I used to have the doll as a kid from the store but I gave it to my cousin to be her first Monster High doll. She still has it even though it's badly damaged. That doll was my first Monster High and replacing it is what I wanted as a Collector. I looked for years to find one with such a good deal. Also they have stands on Amazon and eBay for these dolls. It really depends on if you want a real Monster High stand. Also I have Skellita as a Gorgeous ghoul beast freaky friend doll with everything it's supposed to come with. I did use some of the doll tattoos it came with but I still have most of them. I only used 2-3 of them and it doesn't stand on its own . It also doesn't bend at the knees or elbows so it can't really sit down on a shelf without sticking out so much. It's one of their biggest dolls they made. They don't make stands for them that I know of so mine has no choice but to sit in the floor away from everything else so it doesn't get damaged.

in my community there is a toy box for kids to turn in old toys for another child to enjoy. so i clean a lot of dolls and stuff and put them back in the bin all clean, new clothes, better cosmetics, and fixing broken limbs. i already feel so good after!

I used to clean and brush and just make my monster high dolls hair as clean as possible when i was younger there hair wasn’t dirty/ messy at all and them in general weren’t messy what so ever… i took really good care of them more then i should’ve-

I am taking so much from this, I am going to have to try theses methods some day on my skellita, rochelle, frankie, and a load more! One of my rochelle's doll hair is supposed to be curly but it has the curls but looks like a rats nest so I will definitely give this a try!

I have yeaaars working with dolls hair and what i use its only pantene 2 in 1 leave the hair really soft and if you do boiling or those things works very well

I do have that same Draculaura, and also Jackson in the original boxes... but I'm thinking of unboxing, cleaning them, and reboxing them just because it's hard af to find an effin boxed doll nowadays. Oh, you can send that Frankie's old body to Mattel for recycling purposes, they're saying they'll pay the costs.

Monster high is the mostt colorful doll line ever ,well barbie too but monster high the colors are fun.

I'm not a native english speaker and you totally cought me off guard when you had your cleaning tools lined up: we have dish soap, conditioner, ... a toothbrush and a "fine toothcombe" ... WHA- OH fine TOOTHED combe yes yes. Love seeing Monster high coming back, I really want to try some OOAK Dolls and/or makeovers this year

I recommend to use Pantene their conditioner and shampoo I use it on my dolls all the time it makes their hair so soft 😍

Just a quick question, when you are washing their clothes, do you use regular clothing washer, or the one that you aren’t allergic too? Because obviously the doll won’t react but would you because you would be playing with them? My family uses a different kind of clothing wash than me because I react to the ones they use, would I use theirs or mine? Sorry if this question confuses you Would you also have to worry about the clothes shrinking? Probably not because you’d air dry them 🤷‍♀️

i use rose water conditioner and it works wonders i just used a new one with menthol in it for harper and her hair is so silky soft and has nice volume 10/10 rec

I have a few dolls that need work honestly. I have an Ever After High doll of Hunter Huntsman (ridiculous name imo) and his hair is just *awful* ugh. I think it's glue or something because it just won't move. It looks and feels hella greasy and kinda clumps together. Sticky too. Needless to say, I'm taking notes.

I tried with vo5 conditioner on my omg dolls and it works well

For conditioner you should use Dove

Something ive learnt collecting dolls is that NEVER. Brush them in there og hairstyle it can make there hair ruined. Also never use the mini hairbrushes "for dolls"
