I was thinking Beachcomber should be in the set as well but I'm assuming they just wanted to go with figures they already had made and just paint them gold instead of making new ones.

The second i saw that gold paint and the word "model kit" i knew those things where gona be crap

Yep. I’m still looking for a nice metallic good paint for a gold plated Gundam kit becuase I refuse to build those plated parts as is.

Optimum Prime looks like Metabee The mouth guard, helmet and shoulders, not to mention ghe yellow makes it look like him

if you buy this set green stuff world has some gold pigment you used to make paint that you can do repairs if not full repaints of these figures i recently had the full set get shipped to me by a friend were majority of the gold paint was already rubbed off so i sanded them with 2000 grit sand paper primed them black and ran the gsw gold pigment through my airbrush then panel lined them with a sepia ink to make them pop more before i put all new decals on them and shipped it back

Honestly, should've had seaspray instead of prowl since he played a part in the ep

What I saw was a golden Lagoon pipes and pipes wasn't even in season 2

I know exactly why they look so wrong: they have foreheads! In g1, barely if any characters have their brows showing and so most have their eyes placed where the helmet ends. These figures (with the exception of optimus) were for some reason given big neanderthal browbones
