I hope everyone realizes fair distribution is Not equal distribution between members. Fair is the distribution in which members are given lines according to their skills and the type of song(rap heavy/vocal heavy). Every group has main, lead, sub- vocalists/rappers for a reason! If lines are distributed between them equally then THAT would be unfair for the more skilled members. So there are different line distributions for different songs.

But having 2 members with 20 seconds while the others have 8 or 9 is not fair either, like with Izone or Loona, Why debut 12 Girls when 5 in Izone and 3 in Loona of them will always be top with 30 secs and the rest will have little to no lines, little to no screentime, little to no center. Like, did you see So What where Gowon, Vivi and Yeojin almost blended within the backround and Panorama/La Vie En Rose/ Violeta where Hyewon and Sakura were nonexistent? You can say whatever about their skills, but it's not okay for you to focus on the same people every time

gaeul not being last for 3 songs :D one pre-release one title track and one rap based song

Wonyoung got accused as the favorite of the company (Twitter stans even spread hoaxes about her sleeping with the CEO) but she doesn't even have the most line in her own songs. They said she's thirsty for attention and always go for center spot not letting Gaeul stand there, but then a few days later Gaeul stood in the center and in this era of 5 members it's Yujin who is always center. In reality, she's being exploited and overworked, they used her fame as a weapon to promote the group but in return they didn't even protect her from all those malicious comments.

It’s a common issue, people protect the 2nd/3rd most popular member even if they got a better treatment of the company and think of the most popular is a villain who the company adores, look at how average kpop stans treat Lisa/Jennie compared to Jisoo/Rosé, Soyeon compared to Shuhua/Miyeon etc

- The source (timer and rank) add in video I chose were based on others channels and I just ranked from them ( I upload this video before the correct line from other songs came out ) . I think that Gaeul always gets least lines is because she isn't a vocalist and there are not many rap lines and she has to share with rei.. Also although Yujin is not the main vocalist but she is the leader and she could sing high notes well so she always gets most lines. BUT SHINE WITH ME IS KINDA OVER, there were 43.9 seconds difference.. And I guess the song type of Kistch is not suitable for liz to sing cuz it's like somehow strong and powerful but liz is better so sing some mild songs--

Now I know the reason I like the song Lips, because Rei holds the line the most ❤

I feel like the entirety of the album is actually balanced and reflective of the group's vocal abilities. Gaeul ranks last in many songs, but she still has lines, and actually has quite a lot of lines in the songs where she isn't last. I just find it crazy that Kitsch specifically gave half of a verse to their main vocalist. Like, the entire album is super fair, but that one particular song? No, let's just rip off Liz this one time. Starship really was like, "She can shine in the other 10 songs, but this specific one, let's give her 10 seconds.

tbh the line distribution has been pretty fair this album 🤷🏻‍♀️ everyone got their chance to shine and even liz who got the least in kitsch (a dance/rap focused song) had some of the most in several of their b-sides

True, I remember on her 1st guesting on The Masked Singer, they applauded her for the timbre in her voice. On Iz*one's idollive guesting, you can still hear her voice though they sang on chorus and on It's Live too, when they sang I AM.

Kitsch would be a fair line distributions , but Starships didn’t want to make it fair, so they have to Liz only 5 seconds. If we don’t count Liz line as part of the song (it’s not a thing to do, it’s just an example) it is so fair

IVE total line distribution is acc super fair and not even remotely as bad as ppl make it. Yujin and Liz are the main vocals. Yujin is popular and has the most lines. The second is Liz who mostly gets high notes and challenging parts as she has the best vocals. Then its wonyoung and leeseo. Wonyoung is best suited aa a sub vocalist but being center and literally one of the reasons of IVE's popularity has the advantage and gets third most lines. In other hand leeseo is suitable lead vocalist in this group and is just after wonyoung(they usually get parallel lines) Then its Rei and Gaeul. They actually have similar amount of lines with some gap from 4th position. It blows my mind on how ppl talk about gaeul needing more lines when both Rei and Gaeul have similar amount. And Rei is definitely a both better vocalist and rapper than Gaeul. Gaeul is imo the least vocally skilled member and shes suitable for lead rapper and main dancer. But she still gets vocal parts. They are 5th and 6th respectively. My problem with IVE is screentime. Their line distribution is fair if you use your brain to look into it instead of following the wonyoung hate train like a with a stuupid sheep mentality.

Like open your eyes, she has been getting a good amount of lines for a main vocalist since debut. The only one who needs more lines in my opinion is Rei. Like even in WAVE, a Japanese release, a Japanese member didn't get the lines she deserved and got most of her lines being in English. And in another Japanese release, "Queen of Hearts", she got 10 seconds with 5 seconds being English Lines.
