What's the most unbelievable product name from the past you've ever heard?
Mum was a deodorant, not a cleaning product. Hidden Body was a home permanent (or a feature of a Toni home perm), not a perfume fragrance. It's possible that there was a line of cleaning products called "Mum" and/or a fragrance called "Hidden Body" (though I can hardly believe that), but the products pictured were a deodorant and a Toni perm.
Mum wasn’t a cleaning or polishing product, it was a deodorant used mainly women.
Ayds wasn't a bad name, just an unlucky one. Like Corona beer after 2020.

I used to use AYDS - caramel was my go to. Vitamin & mineral treat. Why didnt they change the name?

"Hidden Body" was a tagline. The product was called Toni. LOL!

Yeah, but you can buy VO5 everywhere. I'm not sure about Dippity Do but I would lay you odds that you can also find it still.
The one that got me laughing on this video was Ayds. I remember them. My mom had some in her top drawer. There was a sanitary pad in the 80s called Rave. It was pulled from the shelves when it was found to cause toxic shock syndrome. Now, I don't know about the rest of the girls, but raving about a sanitary pad just didn't happen. I was born in 1963.

Nope. There was no such sanitary product as "Rave." The superabsorbent tampon-not pad-was Rely, and it was directly linked to TSS. It was introduced in the late 1970s and later withdrawn from the market. I tried to Google "Rave," and nothing came up on it. You misremembered Rely. Pads were never linked to TSS.
Most of these are hilarious and I do remember them! However, that Macho fragrance for men 13:56 was crazy, not for the name so much as for the shape of the bottle!
Nothing about the Wunder Boner? Aw.... it was a device that would help you debone a fish quickly.

I believe Church toilet seats were still around until recently.
There's still a cholesterol conditioner. It's in the black hair section. It is amazing for your hair especially if it's colored or treated.
At 11:01 I believe the pronunciation is Like-New, not Lick-New.
There was once a cylindrical package of thin, round, sugar wafers, about 8 inches long and 1.5 inches wide, called, "Big Dick". I bought several and put them in a box in a bedroom cupboard, to save as humorous souvenirs. But my mom tossed them out when I was in the Army, along with my collection of vintage dirty magazines and comic books.
Outside of Ayds, I have never heard of any of those.
My zMothet used Syds for a long time to loose weight. It tasted vgrest but I don't think either of us lost much wright ! lol
