WORST PAINT JOB EVER! Mercedes C43 AMG Detailing NIGHTMARE

We were tasked with bringing a Mercedes Benz C43 AMG back to life after it has seen better days. This legendary AMG, the first V8 AMG of its class, came to us in pretty rough shape. The front bumper was completely cracked and the back bumper looks like it met a sign post one time, intimately..
After getting this car back from the body shop.. we realized that they didn't do such a great job on prepping the car. There was overspray everywhere, paint covering every seal and door jam, along with TONS of orange peel. The paint had complete lost it's luster.
Jakub and the boys got to work on restoring this shine in the way only I A Detailing can, starting with dry sanding, moving on to wet sanding, and finishing with a multistep paint correction that brought this silver looker back to life!
After they tackled the paint, it was time to dye the leather interior back to factory spec. Using a new Colourlock system, Jakub mixed the factory paint color and matched the steering wheel, driver's seat, and shift knob back to light gray.
This car got a full dry ice cleaning of the undercarriage, wheel wells, and engine bay. It also had numerous parts replaced and restored.
This car took over 5 full days on just the paint, and was at our shop for almost two months between the body shop and interior restoration.

This is awesome to see. My first car was a 1995 C200 in Brilliant Silver so this w202 body style is always special to me. The C43 is such a cool car and it's good to see them finally be looked after and appreciated nowadays after being neglected for so long. They may not be as sharp as an M3 but that era of Bruno Sacco Mercs are just so cool. Respect from the UK. Keep up the great work.

It always amazes me the horrendous quality product some shops are more than willing to push out the door and charge good money for it. Some take no pride at all in their work!!! You know it's bad when you have to start out with a DRY sanding!! Well now it's in the very best hands where it will get tons of PDL (professional detailing love). As always gentlemen superb work!!!!

I like how you move the dry ice to later in the video, even maybe shortening that part. even just showing the highlights of the dry ice, or compressing it a bit more would make it even better. really like the details of the paint correction and the interior overall. no engine bay? maybe it didn't need it. would of liked to see how clean it was, then. keep 'em coming.

Amazing job as usual. Although you’ve stated the poor paint job. Even in the after shots I was able to notice the defects on the trunk. But again “Job Well Done” 👍🏻

If I am going to buy another classic it would be this W202 C43. You guys did an incredible job restoring this classic car. I have the W210 E55 and W202 C36. Please set up shop in the Pacific Northwest so I don't have to spend thousands of dollars shipping my cars to you.
