Great video!! Always enjoy these kind of vids
Sarah Adam's next book I believe will have an open door scene- just a heads up in case you want to avoid it all together! I switched over to Madison Wright and read Just Between Us and really enjoyed it more than Sarah Adams.

I heard that too 😢
So many Gottareademall videos lately! You're spoiling us! 😍 Thankfully I haven't read any of these! 😂📚 Monaghan ... I think the G is silent? Groundhog Day. Yeah, it was ok the first 5 times I read a story like that, but I don't want to see it again for a very very long time!!!! 📚🐗

December is always full of content from me! I think you're right about the silent G..🤔
Everytime I make this type of video, I rarely if ever have any physical books to show😂. I forgot about Sundown! I didn't like it either.
Yeah the practice makes perfect book I appreciate your review! It helped me yeet it earlier this year 😂

I appreciated this so I know what to avoid! 👏
I couldn't get into that book by Tara Johnson, either, and consequently haven't read any of her other books either.
I felt like Practice Makes Perfect was written by a different author😂it was so different from her usual cute sweet romance

Yes I know what you mean!! It did feel very different from the rest of her books
Which Frank Peretti book would you recommend I start with?

I second this! This Present Darkness was my first and hooked me immediately
You crack me up when you discuss things you don't like 😂😂😂 your facial expressions are priceless
Too bad about those books 😭
My Dear Friend were you not disappointed with the recently read Francine Rivers stories? They are not in this compilation so I wonder 😉 .

Hmm you're right but I didn't want to put her book in a video like this haha😄
I find it interesting that you do not enjoy historical books you know the ending to and it makes me wonder: do you re-read books? If so, do these experiences (known historical fiction vs re-reading) differ for you?

It’s more about the setting and the plot that is hard for me to find interesting in historical books. If I loved a book, I like reading it again because I usually love it for the character interactions or a fun twist in the plot.

@@OceanaGottaReadEmAll that makes sense, thanks for responding. Hope you have a great 2024!
4:01 meeeee we the same
Yea girl sundown was 😒😒😒😒
You either love or hate Riley sager. That book though is probably his worst tbh.
I totally feel like I'm the only one that didn't like the flatshare, glad someone else didn't vibe with it either! 😅 The whole time I was on the guy's girlfriend side on it being weird to flatshare with someone of the opposite sex. Maybe if the guy was single I would have been a little bit more okay with the book, but from the beginning I just couldn't stop thinking the guy was a jerk.

Right! Ok we’re not alone in this! 😅
My Dear Friend I wish you that a movie with such a title for 2024 will have fewer books 😀

Me too!
I won’t be reading Sarah Adams’s new book, she’s made it clear it will be open door with explicit scenes and I will not read that material. I enjoyed the cheat sheet but her last two have not been enjoyable for me.

yeah. I'm sad about that. Hopefully other great clean authors keep making good books for us
Practice makes perfect was such a let down!! Very sexualized and lustful. I also was taken aback by her making fun of virginity. I won't be reading her anymore since she's decided to go main stream erotic romance even with her "skippable" chapters is still a sell out to me. Clean romance is just as popular if not more than smutty romance.

Shedding light on practice makes perfect. I didn’t realize how much I overlooked some of the plot line… thanks for sharing! 🫶🏽💕
